Oh She'll do just fine, might even rock.

But my team can do most things as is (about Majinn 10) and have picked up a bit of annoyed temper over Aigis being a bit on the stubborn side on getting on the graphics train, and I do prefer the girls without a dragon tail that could proxy as an example of the lever of Archimedes, so she is a pass to me, sitting at lvl10 in my bench of endless no starts and will stay there.

Luxury problems and personal preference really

Different story if I really needed her, power mostly trumps taste in my case, but I don't lack power and really don't like her features, so didn't face that choice

Sharon: We didn't visit library since days of monsters attack, most likely its still flooded with hijacked golems.
Telma: Most likely there are large model crystals patrolling the area too. If attacked, they will switch into defence mode and counter-attack, so its better to not attack them first.

Anna: This is great library... Filled from floor to the ceiling with mountains of books... I wonder how many writings are packed there.

To Sylvia's unbuffed/no passives:

And fully buffed, I can get her to reach 6.5k hp, 15.5k atk, 17.5k def, 30 MR.

They'd perform pretty similarly, with the exceptions being that Sylvia comes online quicker, has a higher aspd, heals a sizeable amount on hit, and has dodging tokens that dont take a deploy slot, but can't be healed herself. Kyuubi can be healed, blocks 2 and attacks all blocked, and has a higher MR ceiling.

Personally, I love not needing to dedicate a team of healers to Sylvia, and the units you'd bring to buff her are more commonly things you'd be bringing to your core team anyway, whereas Imperial/Youkai buffing units are a bit more niche in where you bring them. Having said that, long-range nuking slow monsters are her bane, and something like Kyuubi who can be sustained while she starts her training montage for the climactic final battle will clearly be a more useable option (and 45 MR when you bring Grace/Barous is nothing to sneeze at with a health bank that big). Specific tools for specific situations, like always.

3/24 - Jerome and Helena moved to A tier from S tier, Leora and Livre added to S tier, Viola added to A tier, Gretel added to C tier, a bunch of units added to The Jury's Out list.


Details in spoilers.

Jerome and Helena - largely a reaction to Leora's addition, they are both still useful for those that have them. Auto ramp isn't as special anymore and the increasing number of vanguards make it more likely that someone has an alternative for Helena.

Leora - Undeniably the strongest AFK enabler in the game.

Livre - Even if she does not yet have her AW, the number of abusive scenarios both demon summoners have been used in is way more than expected of a non-AW class. Preemptively placed in S tier.

Viola - High quality permaskill unit with considerable DPS and tankiness. Watch out for her low HP, though.

Gretel - A semi-useful duelist that tends to be ignored by everyone. Somewhat stronger in elf-theme teams.

Stand out unlisted units added to the Jury's Out include the Jiangshi for her ranged true damage attacks and great skill, and Motley, for being both silly and undeniably powerful.

Particularly so when you realize you can beat it with a few level 13 iron pirates, the level they drop at.

There still isn't a cannoneer unit that boosts the class, so for now it's only Helena for them plus those that gives universal boosts.
