Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game
Carry is one of the best gold duelists, she's like an tanky Bandit, nothing wrong with that. Her attack can easily go over 1200 with skill (1500+ max), so she bashes through defense like she's doing magic damage and it's on a pretty quick cooldown. In comparison to your other duelists, she'd be more reliable.
Chloe is a gimmick, her AW skill blows and is extremely unreliable. Claudia is very slow for her attack, though her skill is pretty awesome, she has low survivability. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe unlike other Princess units, Claudia doesn't do magic damage unless her skill is active, making her a bit less useful in general (Though her base attack is pretty nice). Betty also has low defense/hp and can cause you trouble if she doesn't dodge. Plenty of enemies that can one shot her. Themis/Thetis just has low stats all around, the magic damage has its uses but Carry can usually ignore defense pretty easily anyways.
Anya is more of an off tank than a duelist, at least how I think about her. Her cost is too high for her damage for me to consider her a duelist but she can tank things nobody else can. Like Themis and most Princess' they've kind of lost their home as amazing duelists because of their slow attack speed, and the fact that there are plenty of units that can reach their damage potential now against armored units thanks to AW. Remember Carry can also get down to 15 cost, and can give you sortie every kill. She also has full sortie cost recovery upon retreating her as well, I think some people don't know how useful that can be, she's basically a free unit.
Allllllll that being said, Spica would probably be the best choice (As Petite said, once you see her rip through red gargoyles and dragons you'll know why), but Carry is a close second. Your other duelists are HEAVILY missing out on the tankiness/reliability Carry possesses. Carry is just extremely well balanced, can't go wrong with her. Her only weakness is rush maps really, and even then she'll probably one shot most everything in a rush map so she won't lose out too much.
Does make it sound more appealing on her with the synergy on her skill, though I've never really had a problem finding a suitable lightning rod. Problem is can you even get her skill prepared in time when she's deployed last? Sounds like a lot of extra hassle for a bit more survivability to me. Without it on, her HP is pretty low after all. She does usually end up being one of my last units naturally anyways, so I guess that's saying something for her, it would just passively make Lich fights easier with no extra work. I get what you're saying there.
Which unit do you guy think i should AW first : Chloe, Spica or Carry.
Carry is the least of my list because i already have plenty of good duelist: AW Betty, Claudia, Thetis and Anya. However Fruit mention carry is one of the best Duelist after AW.

@Fruitsmoothie: Magic Resist +10% is pretty good on Odette according to Japanese players that use her. Arch Mage Odette has a high cost, so you're generally going to find yourself wishing you could deploy her last in positions where she has easy access to enemies. With her magic resistance and skill, you can get her so she only receives 300-400 damage from a lich making her more suitable to act as a lightning rod than other ranged units, especially if you want to use a silver healer in combination with her.
Basically Odette's ability gives you some more options on the positions and order you deploy your units (i.e. you don't have to deploy Odette first, and then Carrie in front of her). The same can't really be said for Sedis, since she can only endure 3 shots from a lich before perishing (2 as a priestess), so using Sedis as a lightning rod is too risky.
