what does earth fairy dorothy's skill do the translation doesn't really make since and also what is Kiko-shi Ricca's awaken ability it just says common class ability but I dont know what the class ability for a puppet master would be?

I think I will give up hunting thistle the other platinum units seem alot more useful Thistle is just an instant death machine pretty sure her attack wasn't much higher than ninja mayfly either

Dorothy's skill, along the silver dwarf soldier Gustav, allows that character to immediately revive at 50% HP just once if they happen to be defeated while it's active. It's pretty useful for Dorothy, since you want her to be at as low an HP as possible, so it functions as a safety net.

Machinist Ricca doesn't have an awaken ability yet. Her class perk is that she can't be healed, and has regeneration when she isn't attacking anything. Her skill switches her to a rapid long range attack with 0-block. I find Ricca to be among the top platinum farm-type units.

The platinum ninja's name is Azami (thistle), the silver ninja's name is Kagerou (mayfly), and the other platinum ninja's name is Hina (chick).

Annnd of course there aren't any that I can find on youtube. The links on the event page don't even lead to any videos for this event on Youtube or Nicovideo. Moajfhuiashgfagr.

WELL HERE GOES NOTHING. Oh god this level hahaha. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, still hilarious though. 3 star first run like a boss.

So Demons go round and round in a circle, and every ranged slot has an enemy on top of it that will whip any ranged unit you place on it. Worse is that for some reason your ranged fighters will rarely target the one hitting them first. So you either need plenty of disposable ranged units to clear the ranged slots, or maybe have a couple of ninja/magic fencers to snipe them off of spots.

I used Spica, Claire and Monica to clear a ranged slot for Noel, who started wrecking the demons and clearing other ranged slots. I also placed Katie at the bottom slot (There are some melee spots where enemies don't patrol) for her sortie skill. Then I put down Maribelle and let her gather up the demons for Noel to bomb down. Once the main demons are dead, the whippers will start heading for the exits so be prepared for that. THEY STUN, so watch your ass, you need some good healing if you don't take them out ahead of time. They almost took out my Carry and Prince, that stun is hurty. They're actually more dangerous than the patrolling demons, so you'll want to take out as many as you can ahead of time.

Best strat is as mentioned to bring along as many units that can double as ranged units as possible, sailors, Rikka, ninjas, magic fencers, etc, etc. The map has a lot of melee areas you can place them to clear ranged slots more safely than using purely ranged fighters to do so. Going to make a special roster team for this map now.

RIKKA IS A GODSEND HERE. Once Odette spawns, she adds a new dimension of difficulty to the map. Rikka can tank her damage and deal with the whippers without a healer, I used her in the bottom left space and set up Ninja Azami at the bottom right exit to open up two ranged slots while Rikka tanked Odette. It's very sortie intensive though so I may change Azami's position to give me more time to gather my troops, probably best to place Azami at top right or left exit and then start with Maribelle and Iris and Noel there.

One of the most interesting/well designed maps from Aegis in a while. I do feel for people without the proper units though, at least there are other ways of dealing with it. Here's a quick step by step with images:

Place Rikka (50/48 used) - She should be at least 50/40 to tank Odette. Activate her skill when it's ready.
Place Soldier (Katie used: 50/60/53), only needed for sortie and maybe tanking a hit or two from Odette to stall her.
Place Ninja (Azami used: 50/53) AFTER Odette has passed that area.
Place HA (Maribelle: 50/62 used)
Place Healer (Iris used: 50/60/66)
Place Mage (Noel used: 50/60/61)
Activate Maribelle and Ninja's skill as soon as possible.
Place Sailor (Marie used: 50/46), activate skill when ready.
Prince can pretty much go anywhere at this point to speed things up.
Clean up the rest of the whippers with Spica on the middle right spot and Daniela and Claire at the top left spot if you don't want to wait for that whipper to start moving so Azami can kill it. You could also use another Ninja, Magic Fencer or Sailor or something for the top left whipper if you don't want your archers to get smacked.

With the way the map is designed you could probably clear it just using melee slot ranged fighters, I just didn't think most people would have enough to get by with just them. I didn't really so I used the HA/mage combo.

I completed the map right after making this strategy for people, whoop whoop Berenice copy. There are surely more efficient ways of dealing with this, just what I used quickly. I didn't have much time to experiment before I completed the map. No reason to go back there now to improve it. Loved this map for giving us a reason to use more obscure units. Good job Aegis team, damn they work hard to keep all units relevant.

The new map is a troll one for a blind run I did it with my alt and barely 1 star it. So bring your ninjas or another melee with to range to kill the trolling monsters in the range spot. Also after the 3star Odette appears since the beginning so prepare for her she can't attack the melee lateral spots put can hit the ones with 2 spots.

Oh lordy this new map. Brought a smile to my face.

I was gonna say "it's not that bad" and then the Plat mage kind of threw a wrench into things.


Disclaimer: I may or may not be wrong about all of this.
First run through:
If you have Ricca (the puppeteer) or a ninja of any kind you're good to go; they'll clear out the left/right sides of the whippers and then you can just proceed from there.

Subsequent runs:
That one mage lady (with the extravagant purple dress and butterflies) shows up instead of one of the musical chair demons. She shuts down the top two and bottom two melee slots (and pretty much no-sells any attempt to pre-emptively take her out without heal support) so...do more of the same but ignore the top two and bottom two melee slots? I guess? She caught me off guard.
EDIT: She also bombs the top two and bottom two range slots, so don't stick guys in there without heal support.

Or you could just do this map with 2 sniper 2 ninja, a sailor and a prince.

place your first ninja in the bottom left exit so she can kill two demon taskmaster.

place the second ninja on the bottom right exit so she can do what the other did.

place the prince in everywhere you want, place the snipers in any free slot you want to help kill the demon, place the sailor on the top exist and activate her skill so she can kill the last two task master.
???

glad I have that one ninja at least I pray none of the later missions are much harder and only have these gimmicks to them. Those aura demons do look a bit menacing though I bet they do like 900 dmg or something ridiculous if they touch your units

Got the completion reward for "Dark Invasion" in several trips (thanks to Kyuteri, I guess). Nanaly might be one of the few ranged units that can kill the whip devils by herself before becoming paralysed.

Only have 7 empty slots in my unit box. I want to conserve my bronze fairies in case I get a lot of platinum units later. Already have an extra copy of Belinda that I could feed to my main for the 25% 4/5 skill, but I probably would want to save her and any other copies so I can feed them to someone like my AW59 Arch Mage Mehlis, or maybe Mel in the future.

Tentative aggregate drop data for "Large Kite's Shadow" from 100 trips:
Wine: 7%
Millennium Wine: 6%
Magic Crystal I: 90%
Azami: 8%

Correct. Though, it's not certain right now whether or not the unit is a regular code or a unique code.

EDIT:
Got the completion reward for "Lost Santa". Map Loot: 4 Calliopes, 3 Belindas, and 1 Black Fairy. Can't wait for the 2x gold+ male synthesis bonus. I'm debating whether I want to use Vincent as food for Nanaly (need 14 plat armours for her, but if I use 6 gold male units, that would be reduced down to 5, and save me 9 black fairies), or to use him to awaken Karma since I have little hope that I'll ever overcome my rogue famine enough that I can casually do a 30CC20 CC on him as food for another Strengthen Range II character, or a 30CC Khuri for Karma.

The demons going round? not really, they do rather low dmg. I use Maribelle to tank them and she can stand quite a bit against 1 without a healer and the 3 of them with her skill and a healer.


One of the task masters (the guys with the whip) starts at half hp. A gold archer (used Xiao) or a vampire hunter should be able to kill it fast enough.

would the 40/4 silver wolf map be much better than the 60/3 map to farm crystals? 60/3 just gave me nothing twice in a row eventhough I learned how to reliably 3 star it recently

I think I might have to try and get that tactician seems like people are actually getting it regardless of black summons supposing to be only 3%. maybe after the new years bonus crystal sale

GOD DAMN IT !!!!!!! :mad:

This must be a joke. It have been 3 days of non-stop running the first Gold Rush map and not a freaking black fairy drop or a silver witch drop. My unit box is flooded with useless bronze fairy which i do not freaking care. Who is the freaking idiot that decided to have a black fairy in the drop list and make it extremely low to drop ?

If they do that just for making people have to spin gatcha for that freaking Platinum Bandit, they just have to make the map cost more charisma and i will gladly spent my money to buy crystal to recharge.

Sorry if i am sound so offense but i could not take that shit anymore. 3 gold rush maps already and not a single map completed. Fuk you Aigis.

We already pretty much have an idea of the drop rates, Petite and I posted some results/info on it so far. Black fairy is probably 5% drop rate. That means you'll probably need an average of 15-20 runs per map for completion for most of these maps, but it could be 30 or more as well. It happens.

One of the reasons I record my drops is not only to help with/confirm drop info, but also because it usually makes me feel less terrible about bad luck streaks. I recommend you try it if that stuff bothers you. You know going a full day or two without the drops you want can make you feel shitty, but when you look at the overall stats, you'll find your drop rates aren't as terrible as they seem. It's the time period and waiting that makes it seem so horrible most the time.

its just luck, I'm running that map nonstop aswell and I do have the plat bandit with the fairy bonus, guess what? still no black fairy.

I am happy I had to switch to Karma event! I was doing 1st map for 2 days and got nothing except bronze fairies (no Belinda, who I want).

Btw. Look what I just rolled for 2k gold!
