They need to add more of these. :p Challenge quests are so outdated that only a handful are useful for farming, and even less are actually challenging because they weren't made with any of the new classes in mind.

My guess is that she has the same mechanic as other unit like Necromancer, Druid and Onmyoji but her token would be monster like goblin instead. Maybe she could summon Goblin champion as a potential cheap duelist

Hahaha heigth.

I'm beginning to think the 14th unit on the upcoming unit list is going to be a Monster User. That's just my thought about her since she doesn't seem to fit the moldings of a Monk and further class titles could possibly be Monster Tamer. It's most likely another class, but there's a small chance for her to be a Monster User.

Lol clearing cache / changing team / changing placing order in the map....
Do this thing actually help more lucky :confused:

Tried it before, but doesn't when unlucky is just still unlucky :(
O well guess it still can work as something like good luck charm to believe on...
(and once i failed map cuz i forgot to bring the key unit to clear it -.- *reset team*)

well I do it mainly for fear of a full cache messing up the game loading drop data properly whenever I think Im getting unusually low drops

Random Number Generators in computer games are rarely truly random; they all use some random-esque factor to assist in the generation of the random numbers...like, say, the system clock.

(It's entirely possible to make a truly random number generator but really to give one of those things to a flash netgame is gross overkill...and a waste of effort)

So yeah, long story short, doing stuff can influence your random numbers, and depending on how the game generates and uses random numbers clearing the cache would help some of the time.

That would be true is drops are calculated on the client which would be really strange and insecure. The random could be initialized in the server using client data, yes, insecure and stupid but possible. Anyway, it seems to have some effect as the coincidences are really big so, yeah, since it doesn't hurt we keep doing it once in a while :p

What kind of exploits might happen if they use client data to generate their random values?

Have you played older Pokemon games? It is possible to manipulate actions just to generate specific type of "perfect" Pokemon. Some information it uses are the clock, game timings, handheld timings, player id, and secret id. I can't remember the other things necessary for manipulating the seed. Generating a large number of seeds, then finding multiple seeds with a specific type of result you want is just a powerful thing as long as you have unlimited chances and can manipulate actions to get those results.

Unfortunately, for an online game, it is more difficult to do without understanding/reverse engineering the game structure. I do find it silly to clear the cache every time because you happen to get a bad result and you want it to be on a clean slate. The reason I find it silly is that you don't know how it will generate the new seed and if the new seed will give favorable results. For all we know, the new seed can have similar drop patterns as the previously generated seed. It just falls under superstitious behavior until there is further proof that a new seed will always return better results.

I know that you, Petite, have mentioned Low Cost Battle many times and I'm starting to think about trying it out after reading your past posts about it. The more you keep mentioning it, the more convincing it sounds so it's probably worth a shot. More fairies should help clear through multiple copies of Platinum units faster than waiting for enough Platinum Fairy drops.
