Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

I have been using an AW Shuka on Nutaku Aigis so am very familiar with what she's capable of. I still have yet committed the resources into an Advance Strategist on DMM. For me it's it'll be either Shuka again or Helena.

I got 4 copies of Shuka from the recent revival. Main copy is skill 5/5 from Bonboris. Sadly, I screwed up and did not combine the copies during event cause I had a last minute trip out of town. I also have 15 copies of Helena that are all near base level.

Which would be the better one to invest in? I am currently leaning toward Helena.

Helena no doubt. her mincost at AW2 is 11, basically makes her the best 1st deploy unit unless you have uzume or unless the map really requires you to choose another unit instead. Shuuka is an offensive adv guard; Helena is more of a buffer and ramp compared to shuuka (but really, you seldom use adv guard for killing stuff at late game, like how you don't use soldiers aside from early rushes)

Unfortunately Shuuka needs some love from the devs in the strategist department...
But hey, if u don't have/like any good monk or samurai, SAW Shuuka is a competent low cost replacement.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Hello,
I have few requests for help:

1. Can anyone post link for google sheet with jap/eng unit names and link for their english wiki? It was here some time ago, but I cannot find it.

2. What is best normal map to get gold? I farm Pastoral gate with Totono (plat merchant), Lila (plat bandit) and new Reane (gold heavy) all of them AW. Is it correct choice? And is there difference if probability of getting gold between those units?

3. Also I didn't use some classes for almost whole time, because they seem quite useless to me. Is it just me, or are they really no good? Classes I'm speaking about are>
Monk - never used
Cannoneer - I almost always use mages as the difference between those is minimal
Thief - Only used them when I started in several missions for evade and instakill, now i don't use them, because they are too much luck dependant
Sailor - never used seems too weak
Alchemist and Curse user - Also never used. I understand thet they are more like support units, but i had solid team before I got them, and they don't look too good for casual use.

1) I'll leave it to black merchant shorty and his shameless advertisement (discord inside joke)

2) 12 sta story mission rural gate (also called pastoral gate on nutaku) is indeed the best map to farm for gold; however, I strongly suggest farming armor N during x1.5 drop rate daily instead and buy gold buff for 3 SC if you're using some SC to refill resources. it's more efficient for gold that way.

3) Monk - except the black monk Alice, most monks don't get used much. plat gacha monk Ur has some nice stats during skill (talking about late-game when AW'd and SAW'd), but that's about it and not a great loss if you ignore monks in general.

cannonneer - it's good to level one of the plats+ or gold cannonneer zola eventually, but they're not a priority early on. they are meant to do a good chunk of damage late game when you get them leveled and are fighting enemies with high MR which make mages a poor choice.

Rogue (from your description, you're referring to rogue; thief is another class) - not heavily required, but can be a useful duelist. on nutaku, I happened to use a cc60 cuterie during the GR (a bit overleveled for it, yeah) and her dps was actually pretty significant. A little squishy, but great for killing weak to medium enemies with high DPS. not a great loss if you ignore them, but you can consider them in the long run when you have a couple of AW'd units.

Sailor - Reanbell, the plat sailor and Amelie the gacha plat sailor, are kind of the only sailors that are fairly good, but also requires AW and SAW to be of any use. Also usually requires working with other units to get the best effect, hence also meant for after you have a couple of AW units. Reanbell particularly, has been used in Majin Vepar in a lot of videos.

Alchemist and Curse User - both classes are pretty weak atm, and the only notable units from these 2 classes atm are Makina and Charles, the gacha black and gacha plat alchemist respectively. Makina has a nice token that debuffs enemy def and regens ally hp while charles skill can be decent for support and actually work in reducing enemy def setups. But otherwise, also somewhat unnecessary. Most notably, units that benefit from alchemists would likely benefit even more from a dancer.

2. For gold u are far better farming the daily. Use surplus charisma to farm the highest story mission and lvl your units the rest of the week.

3.
Monks are by nature anti-rush units. But we didn't have many rush maps a long while. Plus there are some overlapping or roles with other units.

Rogues are mostly underwhelming, only recently one of the plats got a nice buff. Even the black one is a meh unit considering her premium black status. (Not to start a discussion here, she has a nice skill but that's all, SAW Rin can do mostly the same).

Sailors are not that weak, their SAW can be really strong. Some of them are a little plain and as with monks, recent maps don't help them (maps with paralyzing units or avengers favor them).

Alchemists are decent if u build a team around them.

Curse users are almost useless, they need a serious rework.

Edit: forgot Cannons, well, they have a nice range but early on mages/bishops are actually better. Still worth leveling them once u get into more difficult stuff (that extra range sometimes makes a huge diff).

My five cents on alchemists, since I happen to have all of them:

-Thelma is actually useful, as she is the only free unit with AOE Gold Get! She is pretty useful for gold farming, especially combined with Totono's passive.

-Corinne is pretty meh. Her normal skill is good for spreading the alchemist debuff to larger groups, but doing so is usually pointless unless you have other physical AOE attackers to take advantage of it. Her SAW turns her into a single-target DPS unit, but her low attack speed makes her fairly lackluster in that regard. She is okay for a free unit, and her SAW might help a struggling roster to take down a boss, but nothing to write home about.

-Charles' biggest draw is her low cost, as with her AW passive she can serve as a 13 cost AOE unit. However, her skills and her low HP make her unsuited for the front lines. Her SAW is pretty nice though, as it is the best defense buff in the game (not counting B.Iris, because doing so would be unfair). Unfortunately I rarely find the excuse to put her down, because my roster is chock full of true damage dealing units (plus B.Iris), so I don't really need her services, but I believe she can make a huge difference in some less broken parties.

-Makina is awesome. People tend to focus on her token, but the fact of the matter is that she is cheap, has enough health and defense to survive a few stray shots, and her SAW lets her deal just under 2000 damage in an area that covers about half the damn map (and remember, while she deals physical damage, her own attacks are also affected by the alchemist debuff, so she actually deals more damage than a cannoneer of the same attack power). Then there is the token on top of all that. While she is not a top-tier black (mainly because she is not specialized enough to stick out of the crowd), she is certainly useful in practically any scenario.

I currently have AW ashera and CC bashira 60. Should i buy spica and focus on her/drop bashira or keep lvling bashira. Also what are the good units available in trading post.

under assumption of no gacha units, the following units are good:
spica plat archer
chydis plat healer
maurette gold pirate
raichi gold mage armor
eln gold angel

useful for late-game veteran team:
louise plat princess

I personally think spica covers what ashera can't do better.

Not all the things, but most of them. :p

As for Moltena, she became such a sleeper hit. I pulled her the week she got released, and she was so useless I even wanted to sell her (I also might have been a little salty because I bought about 90 SCs to roll for Aisha that week, and I got her instead), but I held on to her out of sheer stubbornness. Then she got buffed the first time, and I decided I might as well raise her. She was pretty lackluster even then, but I decided I might as well get some use out of her. Then they buffed her the second time... and she is now one of my staple units in my roster I take around for blind runs, because she has range, damage and her tokens have absolutely amazing utility.

So yeah, I honestly can't decide which one I should recommend you more, because they are both mid-price, versatile units that can fit a number of different situations.

Is saki worth 300 crystals. I have the plat event ninja, but she seems pretty bad.

She's good, I have her in her Skill AW mode and I loved it XD
But it depends on the enemies, many can replace her place. Her assassination is good against ones with huge assassination multiplier.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

I find it hard to justify 300 magic crystals for Saki on DMM. There is already a ton of units that aren't even getting leveled, so no point adding one more to the pile.

That said, I might give the event ninja Nagi a go since I am currently using a 0 affection gold ninja for situations that calls for one.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

One question:
who's better? Saki or Nagi for usual purposes?

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

The problem is exactly that they are serving different purposes, especially in the new 0 block ninja meta.

Saki is a pure anti-rush melee support unit whose claim to fame is that she is attacking as fast as most units do while under attack-speed increasing skills. In the past she was also outstanding as being one of the very few units that could assassinate from range, but unfortunately for her the competition already squashed her in that regard. Still, with her SAW in particular, she can shred entire waves of low defense enemies, but lots of units can do that, and she is not particularly amazing otherwise.

Nagi on the other hand is best considered to be a duelist Angel who also deals a bit of melee support damage outside of skill activation. Her SAW in particular turns her into a pretty decent magic lightning rod for the duration by doubling her health and granting her 30 MR, but unfortunately it can only be used once per battle, and otherwise it is pretty lame (a 3400/800/700 Black unit is pretty lackluster in the current meta). Overall she is not a terrible unit, and if you need a melee support unit for single target DPS instead of anti-rush purposes she might fit the bill, just don't expect her to turn the game on its head.

Cypria is kind of great now if you don't have really nice premium duelists, AW2 was a big deal for her. 90% dodge, big raw dps, and a chance to deal true damage let her take on bigger physical threats pretty well.

There is a problem with duelists themselves. For 1 block units, most of them can't really tank the big bosses. And for dealing with mid-bosses there are a lot of units with multi-hit or more useful tricks.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Regarding the Shrine Maiden Shiho, I read the comment at seesaawiki and they seems to say that if skill awakened she has a better Heal Per Second than regular Platinum Healers without Skill Activations but has worse range (after the 10 sec buff). Did I read it wrong?

She has the highest Healing DPS per second with her skill awaken.
Her range didn't cut off, more like the output multiplier

Don't forget it more like toggle skill (switching). Her normal skill is like a burst healing for limited seconds
