If you are talking about an Akabur done update there probably wont be one for a LONG time. He is off to get his visa and start Art School.

If you are talking about Russian HT then I have no idea as it's been awhile since they released there last one.

Does he seriously consider Witch Trainer done? Not that I'm complaining about Magic Shop, but WT has so much potential, a Gold edition with a lot of art and new characters could be the greatest thing ever

This is how I feel about it. There are so many characters that already have Rule 34 spank bank equity built up, plus the setting feeds a number of different kinks. And it would be kinda neat to, you know, go somewhere.

keep in mind, that magic shop is a predecessor of witch trainer. Cause of a event in the shop, genie is transported to that other world.

I always thought the chronology went MS -> PT -> WT? Ie., MS is mostly spent messing around with Jasmine so I always figured PT was sort of the "sequel" to it.

Personally, I have little interest in seeing MS finished, it was less a "game" than just a gallery of CG's to click through, very little story. Good CG's though!

The later quests for the other two girls are pretty expensive to do unless you already have Jasmine at least dancing, if not whoring, to fund your efforts. Unless you're just grinding like crazy?

*shrug* To each their own. I've heard that some players are unhappy with storyline elements of "public access" to the female characters (such as Jasmine or Iris working in the brothel). But for me, I'd rather have the higher gold income to reduce the grind factor a bit. By day 100 I typically already have Jasmine turning tricks and am most of the way done with getting Iris to work alongside her. (I really enjoy their interactions in their two-way and three-way (with Delilah) sex scenes).

I'm a bit jealous, to be honest. Took me one night to finish the game.

One thing in this game worries me the most. Once you get yourself a princess, she takes all your attention and you happy with it. But then game gives you new ladies and in my case all the previous girls go to the backstage.
Really bad move for a trainer game. But that's just me.
Feels like I'm on hurry when it comes to H-games.

Not for me, my attitude is once I've been their "first", I'm happy to toss them to the public afterwards.

That's how I usually feel about H-games that have a harem element in them. I usually prefer to have the one and only best slut rather than a bunch of girls instead. But it's not that big of a deal that it would bother me, let alone make not want to play the game.

My problem with the game is that it didn't use the same training elements for Iris and Lola, which seems like a damned shame. I could picture Iris starting at zero obedience but already mostly depraved, and you would have the option of leaving her the way she is and letting her work as a whore for herself, OR training her into obedience and then making her work for you as her pimp and forcing her to give you all her earnings, OR (third option) a plotline where you cure her of her fuck-headed self-hatred and nymphomania, and make her your private lover & eventual wife. (Maybe a Mistress Rose option to UN-train her "corruption" level?)

I choose the worst possible outcome.
So I can be surprised by any kind of progress.

I think this is the wisest approach.

Hey, I'm glad for him too - "Local Smut Scribbler Makes Good" is a heart-warming story - but I suspect once he graduates it'll be "Aka who? I'm a respectable, professional CG artist, I've never drawn any porn, what are you talking about?"

It's sadly pretty common. A lot of artists and writers who do H stuff have a legitimate concern that if their H pen-name gets outed and linked to their IRL identity, it could seriously damage their day job / career. I know at least one writer who writes hardcore porn stories (online, pseudonymously) AND children's books (under her real name), and lives in fear that someone will out her (which would probably cause her publisher to drop her like a rock). All too often, someone who started out writing smut and then manages to break through into "respectable" (scare quotes deliberate) work, will quit their porn moonlighting if they don't feel they can maintain their cover. For example, the author Cassandra Clare (author of the Mortal Instruments series), got her start in Harry Potter Slash fandom writing Harry/Draco pairing novels. When her "respectable" novel got published, though, she did her level best to scrub her slash writing from the Internet (she failed, of course, but she tried).

Once Akabur gets his degree, with talent like he has, he won't need to beg for donations from horny randos on Patreon any more. He'll be able to get a great paying day job drawing art for AAA video game titles and we'll probably never hear from him again. I wish him well with it all the same.

Japanese (and Chinese, and Korean) forums talk about a number of western dev games, I've personally seen topics on Future Fragments, Malise and the Machine, Crisis Point, Anthophobia, among others, so it's not out of the question.

I tried re-installing Python 2.7 and Ren'Py, but it doesn't work.

EDIT: I fixed it. Apparently, the game won't work through my Nvidia High Performance GPU. So I switched to my integrated graphics and it works fine.

Thanks for the explanation. Hmm, I would say that it's possible this part of the game serves as "NTR" for people who are into that, but you'd think if that was the intention of these parts of the game, that Akabur would have drawn more CG's of Jasmine and Iris getting fucked by other random dudes. (Well, there are a few, like the gang-handjob scene at the Palace.) Ie., all that whoring at the brothel is sort of "imagined" rather than directly witnessed; the only guy we SEE them fucking at the brothel is Genie. But I suppose for some people, imagining this is sufficient.

I can't really speak as I'm not into this fetish, but neither am I opposed to it, so I suppose this is a divide that means little to me. I'm guessing there are people out there who look for games with this sort of content, and other people who find it revolting and want games where the female characters are more or less monogamous / "steady" with the player character? Interesting, and yet another headache for game devs in terms of deciding what their audience wants...

For anyone who is playing Princess Trainer 2.03, and have extracted the game files, I have made a few edits

The changes I have made:
* Added a cheat button in Azalea's store (under Jasmine's cloths) to add more money.
* Default hair is now selectable at all times (was coded to only show when all cloths are purchased for some reason).
* Jasmine's room event now show a 0 instead of 1 if you haven't seen the first event. This also looks better with the Obedience Tests counter.
* Jasmine's room events are now replayable. You need to have unlocked the CG attached to each event (by watching the last one). Pressing each event will show a new menu with each level.
* Day events are replayable, as long as you have seen them.

The zip file contains all the files that I have edited, so there are a few more changes I have made that I don't think are that important.

How to install:

1. Move the ARCHIVE.RPA file out of GAME\ folder and place it somewhere else. The same folder as the EXE file should work fine.
2. Extract ARCHIVE.RPA with UNRPA [Needs Python installed!!!]
3. Put the extracted content directly into GAME\ folder
4. Unzip the content of PT203_jurdia_edits.zip directly into GAME\

Note: IF you wish to repackage the ARCHIVE.RPA file, you will have to have ren'py on your computer, selected the game folder (not GAME\) selected as you have no project file, and press BUILD. I have not tested this yet so I can't say for sure it works.


I've also made a quick GIMP project file like the Hermoine Generator, for Jasmine. It's not perfect.
