Latest version allows the old man to counter the girl if she stays crouched. Previously she could stay in that position and punch the old man without fear of retaliation.

The store page shows what happens when the old man's counter is successful.

Most of the pirate uploaders don't have a registered account on DLsite allowing them to obtain the latest copy for free. Those who do simply don't bother to get the latest version until someone prompts them to do so.
