That's the idea. The girls are having such trouble facing off against two of them, Azure's going to toss Emily the gun and grab at two of the slimes at once to try to keep them off of Emily so she can rescue Iris and then fight off the two slimes that Azure's trying to hold.

By the way, would it be possible for Luna to "hop in" on Rin's mission to save her? Or no?

(Seeing as the research party will be taking a bit longer than expected, since they are quite literally fucked)

Somehow I doubt that, mainly as no one wants to risk having the rescue mission cut short due to night time.
