I can't break through the walls, neither the anchor nor the bomb worked.


Think this might clue people in? ( a charge up bar for the anchor)

updated demo, few bug fixes, but i've added the power bar and updated the background of the boss room to make it look more like a pocket dimension.

The Power bar is helpful in the beginning but not really necessary once you figured out how to use the anchor, don't you think? Maybe add a shortcut to turn it on/off.

I only added it cause some people didnt realise the spinny animation before you let go is it charging... it's probably better to leave it... maybe an option in the menu

Keep it up :)

Though it seems that I can't kill a lot of the enemies with the hook. Especially the horses.

the room with about 5-6 horses can be beaten without getting hit, and destroying the horses is actually harder than just dodging :), which is just fine since there's no real skill progression, can't do too much with it cause there was no real comfortable button for switching weapons.
i think the horses take 2-3 full charged hits though... i did leave that dark cross upgrade in the demo so people could get a feel for it, that's probably gonna be a pretty late upgrade in the game but it increasing the minimum charge increases dps a lot :)

well the base for this game was the nun vs tentacles game though i have been adding sprites and stuff :)
