Oedipus didn't know it's his mom he married, though.
He got sent away as a child, came back, unknowingly kills his father, kills the sphinx, got his mom handed to him as a wife. They find out, mom hangs herself.

Poor guy honestly, I mean aside from his pride in his ability to have ridden them of the sphinx, he pretty much did everything with the best intentions. The gods must have really hated that dude.

Tip: There are other places for videos that do allow such content.
Putting such a video on youtube or a safe-for-work site would just be stupid, and just post it on /b/(4chan) once and it will probably be spread around by them as well.
There are also several youtube like sites specificly for porn, I'd expect one of the videos assumed to be made in this thread to fit in there perfectly.

I think what he meant was, given the choice between doing something repugnant, and death, which would you choose? he might have phrased the question poorly by specifying the repugnant act (especially when addressing this particular community) because everybody is repulsed by different things, but the underlying idea remains the same. For example I find loli repugnant and immoral and given the choice between raping a 10-year old and death, I might choose death.
I'm not one of the mods or anything and I don't want to come off as a hardass, but there's a different thread for what's being discussed in this one and it seems redundant to be having what's essentially the same conversation in two different threads, especially when one of them was originally intended to be about something else. plus I find the original question interesting and would like to learn the responses.

I would do what is asked, but when seeing even one chance I would make sure the person responsible has a very unpleasant day, and that it would also be his last day.
I'd sooner do things I don't want and then hurt the person that made me do it a lot, and will never choose death willingly. I guess after getting the person, I'd also go after his superiors, and so on until the problem is fixed.

Maybe the question should be more along the lines of "At what point would be crossing the line?" I.E., what act would be so wrong/uncomfortable/disgusting that you'd rather die than do it?

I really wouldn't say I wouldn't do anything to escape death, because while we're sitting here thinking about it calmly, we can go "Yeah, sure, I wouldn't do that." But when we're actually face-to-face with the fact that we Will die if we don't do this, the situation becomes a lot grimmer and the things you said you would never do, that you'd rather die than do, well, often times, you might change your mind.

I'd never kill a child. Even if my life's on the line, I wouldn't be able to do that.

He yelled out a warning. The man that got shot didn't stop, started drawing his weapon. The first man kept hesitating for several seconds before taking the shot, putting his own life in danger.
And before you go: "With enough discipline and training he'd have done it faster." This man was part of an elite unit.

Well, I kinda shorted down the story, He shouted a warning, the guy had been previously firing his weapon, there was no doubt that he was supposed to fire.
But still, taking a persons life is something that really strides against your intincts.
