I'm curious what the explanation will be for having both versions of Rydia, and whether there will be scenes for both or only while she's aged up.

It looks like a nod to the actual FF4 where she starts younger (though so far, it doesn't seem like she'll be playable then) and based on the text in the trailer, joins the party as an adult during a fight with Golbez.

Badly hoping for a demo before the game's release.

Wow this looks amazing(except why has Yuna got balloon tits!),
Terra looks greats and i actually like the design of the males aswell, looking forward to this one.

Seems to be made in RPG Maker MV. I hope it doesn't have the memory leak issue plaguing a lot of games made in that engine

Where did you read it was in RPGMaker MV? Could you tell from the trailer?

You can tell by the size of the sprites in the trailer.

lot of hint in the trailer yes, sprite, icon, etc... that will certanly be a MV game

after, nothing to be scared... we get in the past some MV game with big memory leak... but most of them was because of so badly coded plugin used.... and not realy because of MV himself, that was the start of MV, bad plugin dont live so much =)

One bad point in MV that can cause ressource problem on old PC that still exist... is the Enigma packaging virtualisation... that a so bad things -_-... that i ask myself why they didn't get rid of it already :x
but it's easy to unpack it, so no worry ^^

But I must say, this game put me in an akward spot.
Terra is probably my favourite female FF character, but putting her in the team would mean she gets raped...


Anyway I am disappointed Ultros doesn't seem to be in the game.

Thanks for alleviating my concerns. I was so disappointed with Slave Sword's functioning of RPGMaker MV that it may have scarred me for life lol.

MV still scares me, but I know I can trust you :D

Yeah, if this game had Garnet and Rinoa I would be all over this. Oh well, good enough with the current cast, looking forward for the release, mid-Feb is very close now.

Let's hope for a sequel with more characters.

Also still hoping for a demo, but that's looking increasingly unlikely.

I personally think there's a chance this game might let people down, and that a demo would lead to less sales rather than more.

I'm guessing from watching the video that there will only be 2 battle rape animations per character (down and standing), and that the same animations will be used for every monster so they aren't going to mesh very well. Does that make sense?

Well I hope I'm wrong about this game possibly letting people down. For me the standing pictures and CG are hot enough that even with bad animations it'll still be a good game if it has any length at all.
