DeMatt, dressed in his robe and judge's wig, enters his courtroom.

"Ah-hem. The Right Honourable DeMatt, presiding. ALL RISE!"

He takes his seat and taps his gavel to get everyone's attention.

"First on the docket, 'garfield751 v. ToxicShock'; the plaintiff considers the respondent to be 'too lucky in SDTT5', and is therefore suing him. Plaintiff, please give your opening remarks."

Re: Case: garfield751 v. ToxicShock

(We're doing this narrative style?)

The bailiff, pimped out with his beige uniform, plastic badge, and brown khakis, stands besides Judge Dematt. Armed with a taser, a bible, and an AK-47 with two spare clips, he's ready to uphold the law, badass style.

And what an opportune time too! A bastard in the crowd just held up a grenade!

"MISTER PRESIDENT, GET DOWN!" he screams, tackling Dematt the the ground. He then opens fire onto the guy with the grenade with his bible. Unfortunately, the guy with the so-called grenande was just eating a pear.

"America is safe once again, Mr. President." he says with a bow, picking the judge back up.

Re: Case: garfield751 v. ToxicShock

(Ehh... it just seemed more appropriate to my writing style. You can write however you want, just so long as I can understand and respond to it.)

DeMatt dusts himself off and gets back on his chair.

"Good for them. Now, can you please refrain from throwing the Book at people? That's my job."

He looks around.

"Plaintiff? Where's garfield751? Can't hold court without the plaintiff..."

Harrumph. Defendants typically don't GET to choose their judges.

plmnko, was it? Unfortunately, we can't hear your evidence without the plaintiff present. If you'd like to create your own suit in this regard, please post a request in the general thread.

*After finishing raping Darkfire in the bathroom, Raptor walks into the courtroom, dressed in the bailiffs clothes.*

All rise for the honorable Judge DeMatt.

A loud "HARRUMPH!" comes from the front of the courtroom. The discussion over the bailiff breaks up to see an annoyed Judge DeMatt.

"Since the plaintiff has FAILED to show UP, I am hereby DISMISSING the case. Defendant ToxicShock, you are one lucky person. Don't go snacking on four-leaf clovers anytime soon.

"Court is ADJOURNED!" Bam!

Re: Case: garfield751 v. ToxicShock

What irony this case presented.

If I was found guilty, that would be unlucky, therefore I would be innocent. But it seems I was found innocent, which was very lucky of me, so I'm really guilty.

NOW MY LUCK IS FREE TO REIGN!... until I die in DTT

Re: Case: garfield751 v. ToxicShock

I actually would have liked this one to play out a bit.

I'd like to see how other people categorize me as lucky, maybe even a list of examples.

... sorry. There's only so far in this format I can go with one of the participants AWOL. :(

OTOH, like I told plmnko, if someone else wants to take a swing, I'll play judge there, if you and they don't mind.
Do note that "don't mind" is distinct from "agree"... :p

Re: Case: garfield751 v. ToxicShock

Hey it's just fun for me. After spending every second of my time analyzing the people around me, it's fun to see how other people, in turn, look at me. It could be a list of my faults for all I care, I just would like to see why I'm marked as "lucky"
