Chapter 5 Home is where the Heart is (Ubberific) GMed by ranger


Adel smiled kindly and wrote the note down on a little pad she kept nearby. "Now don't you worry dear things will be okay. Im sure your friends will come by they seem to get into lots of trouble." She padded Rikke's hand gently. "And do not worry too much about that powder there is little need for it in my shop now a days. I was lucky to have it around." She smiled and followed Rikke out the door. Leaving the small cozy shop she smiled at the flowers starting to grow in the beds. "Oh I wish the others would plant their flowers again. It dose make the street so much more happier."

The old woman waved Rikke off before returning to her shop. Leaving the same what she entered RIkke paced by the closed of shops their dirty windows blocking any real insight to their origins. It was then that her sense of danger kicked in and with a quick glance up she saw about six ruffian's walking towards her. Sadly they spotted her just as she spotted them. Behind her RIkke could hear windows slamming shut.

"Well looky here boys! This girl seems our type." There was a couple sinister chuckles followed by a large dopey looking man say "He he Sure boss she sure dose" The "leader smirked and swaggered up to Rikke. "Hey Babe how about you let me and the boys show you a good time. Ya know party hardy humm." More disgusting chuckles followed by "Yeah yeah boss a good time" from the large fool in the back.
 
Rikke could only snicker kindly as Adel seemed to suspect she was going to see her friends sooner then later, at the very least as a medic or medicine supplier! "Mhm~ That they do." the heroine sighed happily, still just as she left the girl did catch the elderly womans saddened sigh, spurring the orange haired beauty to pause her departure for the briefest of moments "Yeah... I noticed the street hasn't aged all too well... what happened her?" though the answer the girl could easily suspect, infact the innkeep had hinted at it - outside or local gangs moving to the tight small streets to hide away or run their illicit activities.... And if that was indeed the case, the heroine could only smile subtly at the handywork Illie and the others had already done to clear this street up! "Well... Something tells me one way or another things just might change a little around here, sooner than later." Rikke commented with a sly smile and equally sly wink, before heading right off carried by her usual beaming confidence!

Who knows... perhaps uprooting Jericho in these parts would stem or cut off the more wicked and dark activities around here... Yet it was still unclear just how deeply Jericho roots ran throughout the citys likely main attraction and supporter- the very same University Rikke had infiltrated! At the very least that was the hope... With a bright smile and even a wave back to the woman seeing her off, soon enough the beauty turned to the run-down streets infront and continued onwards. Seemed for now, she'd just need to wait Illie to find HER instead....

Though unfortunately, it seemed it wouldn't be Illie that would find the luscious beauty first... as indeed just as Rikke looked to some of the aged paintings along the walls, depicting flowers and vines in bright optimistic colors-- suddenly an undeniable shift in the air could be felt, as a shadow loomed over the curiously leaned forward rogues body, one Rikke wasted little time to notice and one followed by some snickers and chuckles? As indeed quickly turning around suddenly the beauty was looking at six particularly shade figures! A twinge of absolute danger pulsing throughout her body 'C-crap!'

It was then the rogues outfit absolutely seemed to do her very little favors! Black cozy thigh-high socks and boots, cute short shorts and especially her white shirt with the few top buttons undone to reveal the girls ever-marvelous cups! The subtle sunlight from outside seemingly wasting little time to add a subtle gleam to the already tightly pushed together and tightly squeezed by the shirt bust! Something that Rikke utterly felt every single one of the bastards had taken notice with one even stepping closer and naming her 'their type', going as far as place a finger under the rogues chin!

B-Beauty would be real handy right about now, as Rikke absolutely read the mood and the gazes running along her superior relatively flaunted body! Still... she knew bandits like these, she just had to keep her cool! And moreso use what clearly had the majority of their blood and thinking against them! Subtly narrowing her eyes, Rikke further 'accidentally' pushed her bust together with her forearms to even add a subtle jiggle to the 'main attraction' "Oh? A good time, huh? Well~ You sure you boys have the means to treat a girl right?" the rogue stepped forward confidently and into the middle of them, yet moreso walked towards the last one of the group! All she had to do, was close in.. Knee him in the crotch and run!
 
Rikke's provocative action seemed to please the men who gave appreciative ohs and smiles. Her move forward into the middle was halted by the seeming leader of the the group. Grabbing her arm. "Oh my my girly seems we had you pegged right. He pulled her agianst his chest wrapping an arm around her waist. Leaning down he took a good sniff of her. Meanwhile his crew started chuckling a bit more ominously. "So my little lovely how about you come back you our place humm?"
 
Ofcourse it worked... The rogue recognized lusty creeps like this from a mile away! Now then, all she had to do was get in close! As indeed with the sly thought in mind, the rogue walked forward eyes locked onto the likely very same dumbest one of the group that proved the only obstacle in her way! Yet just as the rogue stepped through them and nothing short of them undressing her entirely with her eyes, if only due to the subtle jiggle of her with each confident step--- suddenly things didn't go entirely to plan!

"Wuah--oof!" Rikke oofed lightly as unexpectedly one of the men pulled her in from behind?! 'W-wha--?!' the sheer position barely allowing any clear counter-attack or escape, especially with the fair height difference as unexpectedly indeed the busty beauty felt her body pulled in to the lusty bastards chest behind?! "O-Oh... someone's feeling greedy today." the rogue tried to keep her act, not to show the subtle twinge of worry! Still it was time to improvise and she had the perfect plan!

As indeed Rikke looked to turn around and face the bastard properly, before placing her hands on his shoulders 'alluringly' and using that as support for a powerful knee right to the dirty jewels!!! S-So long as the girl managed to turn around in the grasp...
 
The man didn't stop Rikke from turning around to face him. He even smiled as she placed her arms on his shoulders. His smirk turned to a picture of pain as Rikke brought her knee up into his groin even hearing a faint crunch. The man dropped holding his jewels as his crew went for Rikke. She easily dodged the first one who leaped at her. The second she tripped sending him flying. It was going rather well for her until a strangeled cry arouse from the downed man. "Someone grab that SLUT!" Rikke felt the necklace warm and her vision go hazy a moment.
 
Rikke alluringly turned around only to face... the rather unpleasant 'would-be suiter', her hands slowly sliding up along his chest over to his shoulder "Your place, eh? Well such an offer..." she'd lean closer pushing her cups against his chest, the generously unbuttoned shirt flaunting the cups resting against him, her luscious lips in a clear smile "I'm gonna have to..." the rogue continued, only for her grip to tighten on his shoulders?! "Have you stuff it!" the girl suddenly cried out only to use her grip and leaned position as a perfect angle to land an utterly devastating knee to the mans crotch!!!

The sheer blow seemingly making him utterly curl up right then and there! "Humph..." yet it was then the roars behind the rogue echoed out! Though even if she was unarmed, dodging the mob quickly proved simple enough even in the tight spaces! Each lunge or grasp slipping right past the busty beauty, as she moved all too gracefully between their attempts, even tripping a few too eager one "Ha~ Sorry boys! Need to dash!" she'd wink to them slyly, before turning to the last few and already having planned to use one of them as stepping stone the beauty began to rush forward--- 'Someone grab that SLUT!' the phrase echoed out throughout her senses only for the collar to heat up as everything turned hazy---

"Humm-kamhh!~" nothing short of lightning rushed throughout Rikkes body as her muffled cry punctuate the sudden stop of her dash! As if to utterly counter-act her current fire and spunk to escape, arousal and lust rushed throughout her body?! W-what... W-what was--- The curse?! Her legs almost numb and lightly crossed, her breathing heavy and senses tingling... even her whole body seemed to be blushed subtly all of sudden! Yet through sheer determination the beauty bade the fog creeping onto her away.. away!

"Phaaa.... haaa..." Rikke breathed hotly as she'd attempt to gather her presence of mind, hopefully just in time for the twinge of danger and echoes of approaching threat to echo out and spur her to desperate action! T-there was no way she'd be able to make her showy planned escape now... She'd just need to dodge and trip the rest, while making her way to somewhere safe! Somewhere she could refocus herself right then and right now! "Mmh... mm--" as with trembling eyes she'd move forward, even if lacking the confidence and supernatural dexterity from moments ago!

That single moment of weakness was enough as the large fool from before reached out chuckling. "Heh heh Slut!" once more RIkke's vision went hazy as she felt the large man grab her tightly. "Heh heh boss I got the slut!" Once more Rikke was shaken by the word as the necklace sent absolute shivers threw her body. The man that held her in a bear hug was kinda flabby and large his muscles hidden under a layer of thick flab. He ha a slight almost vacant look in his eyes. Unlike the others his held no desire for Rikke, just a sparkle of doing a good job for his boss.

Struggling as the devastating keyword wore off Rikke found his grip almost super naturally tight. "So pretty I got the pretty!" He smiled a rather smiled his teeth rather clean for a bandit. "I got the pretty lady! I got... uhh ohhh." Rikke looked up as his face went slack and his eyes crossed as a large pipe seemed to bend over his head. As he fell he let go of the bear hug he had held her in. Catching herself lightly she saw Irie with a rather cross expression on her face toss away the large pipe. The big man fell landing on Rikke's legs pinning her down. The leader fully recovered gathered up his men and pulled out clubs and knives. "Oh... its that bitch from earlier lets tumble". Looking about Rikke saw it was just Irie. The tattooed woman smiled at Rikke a moment before looking up at the foes. "Humm looks like I get to play hero this time."

It was by all mean supposed to be an absolutely effortless dodge even in Rikkes current state! As the big figure moved in an absolutely obvious and unrefined or even sloppy manner! The beauty breathing hotly looked on and just as she was about to make a move, the 'idiot' uttered the word that once again rang through the beautys senses! "Mmmhh~!!" as if to punish the rogues resistance, the girl felt nothing short of tingling lighting throughout her senses as she'd curl lightly and remain rooted on the spot, effectively making the scoop that Rikke saw far too late utterly unavoidable!

"mmmh!!" Rikke cried out in a muffled manner, still doing her best to supress whatever had come over here... yet as she was waved around like some trophie in the bear-hug the beautys body seemed to visibly relax "A-aye~!" she'd answer to the compliments, seemingly no longer resisting as the haze had finally moved in on her entirely! Though it was exactly through this mist that she saw her captors expression shift and change as all the attention seemed to turn to the... familiar woman, Rikke felt was important... but unable to quite place where! As if her thoughts were blocked...

All the while Irie by sheer fortune seemed to arrive just in time! As indeed the tatoo girl stepped forward and looked through the scene... Somehow seeing Rikke in this sort of predicament, didn't strike too out of the norm. The girl had to wonder exactly what the rogue was up to in the University to begin with... yet as always, the beauty just had something about her that made her seem relatively trustworthy and reliable! Even if said reliable person seemed to be snuggling against the nearest rapist at the moment--- Oh dear, something had happened and it was up to her to clear this rabble and find out!

"Did you forget exactly what I told you last time I sent you all scurrying." Iriana raised her great blacksword to point at the bunch "I'll gut every single one of you here." she'd utter her sharp eyes seemingly glowing subtly red at the words! As indeed that was the threat and perhaps, before she met Rikke the girl may have been in a state to make true on such a threat. Though right now... This bunch wasn't worth it. She'd just need to beat them senseless once over and give them an even further scare! "Come on then! Who's first!" she'd command and swing her blade back taking on a dangerous stance!

Iriiana looked around it seemed none of them wanted to start first. They all seemed to wait for her to act. Clubs waived dangerously while knives glinted in the light. She could feel the old folks watching from teh windows. Looking to Rikke and seeing her friend still trying to free her legs from the fallen fool. Maybe she could have pushed him aside. Either way it seemed Rikke wouldn't be much help in this fight.
 
Iriana tightened the grip on her blade, as indeed she knew this bunch and especially with the rogue there, seemed she needed to do the heroics! "Don't say I didn't warn you! Defend yourselves!" the girl called out only to kick off with surprising speed! Aiming to take out the few upfront, before attempting to tackle the others! Her black blade leaving a subtle trail the fight seemed to be on, as indeed she'd kick off from the ground and let loose an overhead attack aimed at the closets bastard! She'd swing right down to him as if keen to split the man in two--- only for her blade to seemingly phase through leaving black energy where it went! The blow not entirely harming the body, but instead assaulting the very stamina and essence of the target!

WIth her blade smashing down but threw her foe she could feel his spirit weaken. Still the man hadn't run yet and swung recklessly striking her soundly. Starring the man down with slightly red eyes she parried the secound attacker with out looking while the other two began to circle around her. Meanwhile the boss called out to the men to pick it up he has places to be right now.
 
While most of the blows echoed out against her sword, one managed to slip! Spurring a subtle wince from the warior, yet hardly enough to make her falter! "Bastard!" she'd roar out kicking the man, who still managed his hit in desperation backwards, before nothing short of cleaving right through him!... Thankfully without actually doing so, as the blade once again passed right though potentially taking away any more will or power to fight, all the while leaving plentiful trauma of being cut to boot! Still... with all of these bastards here... Individually they were weak, but with so many of them... Well! She'd just need to cut down a few of them! Hopefully that would scare the rest!

Swinging wildly she new it was a bad strike only glancing her foe and throwing her off balance as both of them swung at her. The first strike was weak, barly huring at all as the foe she had been assulting seemed to start losing his nerve. The secound foe seemed more adept and he struck her hard landing a telling blow. Meanwhile the gang leader just laughed as it seemed for now Irriana was in the loosing part of this fight. Behind her the other two had gotten into their position and began their lunge at her.
 
Irie winced at the attack as another blow landed on her! The lack of utter grace or finnesse compensated by the sheer abuse of unseen positioning and looming number of threats all around "Khh..." the beauty winced only to grit her teeth and tighten her hand on the blade "Don't... underestimate me!!" she'd roar out suddenly angling her blade in a thrust position and locking right onto the bastard that so fortunately dodged the unstable attack?! The man had but moment to realize what was coming only for the beauty to sudden rush forward and plunge her blade right through the center of his body and swing upwards mercilessly! In a seeming instant... nothing short executing the man then and there! Would her blade truly kept its physical form, the act echoing nothing short of brutal and almost horrid in its efficiency!

Yet just as the cull seemed give pause to the enemies, Irie seemed to use the momentum to grasp her handle and double hand swing the blade--- Yet this time turned sideways? As with the group hardly expecting it, a loud steely clang echoed out as the blades physical form smacked one of the nearest goods on the chin sending him flying off a brief distance! A distance Irie seemed to give chase instantly?! Her blade steady and aimed for the man, even before he managed to land?!

Meeting the sudden charge Irriana spun her blade quick as lighting despite its size intercepting the two attacks from behind turning two otherwise devastating blows into painful glances. She gave little thought to this as her momentum carried her around and up her dark blade glinting in the light only to connect solidly with one of the ruffians sending him flying back in a spin. Rikke could almost see the spittle fly from the man's mouth as he comically spun a moment in mid air before hitting the ground hard. The other poor bastard did seem to stand a chance as Illi's blade seemed to come up from nowhere in a strike that would have split him from nether's to neck. The man stood a moment as the ghostly blade flew threw him. His eyes twitched and he gurgled a bit before falling to his knees for a moment before falling over on his face. A definite crack could be heard as his noise bone shattered from the impact. Rikke's eyes widened as her thoughts cleared. Did Irri just rend that man's soul? The slayer did even take a moment to look as she began to head for the fallen man. The leader seemingly panicking began to turn tail and run just as Rikke managed to free one of her legs from the downed fool.
 
It would indeed be the rather visceral execution that snapped the tipsy rogue back--- W-wait... what WAS going on? Rikkes vision seemed to slowly shun the fog away to reveal--- "Irie?" the girl blinked, as indeed the visage of her friend seemed to spur the fog more away and only then to note the girls rather exhausted stance, as she rushed in pursuit of the man who she knocked away--- only to for with a echoing boom slam her blade right through his chest the very instant he hit the ground?!

"Ghaaa!!!" Irie let out a battlecry as she'd slam her blade down, much to the sheer panic of the man--- only to indeed for the girl to keep it there seemingly sapping the mans strength as if bleeding him out, while he could only helplessly try to pull it out! Much to the bandit horror, the more Irie seemed to be injured the more brutal and dark her techniques grew! Infact it was that looming fear that seemingly overpowered the oh-so-confident leader as he dashed away! All the while spurring more desperation among the ranks still left, with each blow ringing out against the blade that the girl twisted to parry and horrify the pinned man more!

Yet for Rikke it was equally as terrible--- if this continued Irie might... Crap! What was she doing?! As if hurrying to snap out of it, the rogue loomed to the man that had incidentally pinned her legs under him, as with a wince the rogue quickly got to try and slip out to free herself! She had to intervene, before Irie lost herself in the battle any further!

Rikke had manged to free one of her legs in her attempt to join the fight to help. If not to salvage her own heroic reputation, but to prevent Irie from falling into darkness again. Looking at her friend as she twisted her blade into the man. Rikke could see the anger in her face the slight red glint in her eyes. Apparently being far more heroic than their dear leader the two ruffian's still persevered the attack. "Come on lets get her while she got Duke down." "Yeah lets get the bitch!" Lunging forth Irie perhapse still protected by her dark packs or showing off some hidden ablities conjured up a blade of pure shadow and blocked both blades with one glancing off to strike her arm drawing a thin line of blood from the mere scrape.
 
Irie was clearly and rapidly growing more and more worn down! As indeed taking on so many of the bastards, was almost too much... Had the girl used her weapon properly, its blade true the battle would've no doubt already concluded! Yet would the girl ever want to see 'such' a conclusion... N-no! She couldn't! Not again! The thought echoed out as Irie managed to block each of the blows yet with 'Duke' still squirming weakly beneath the blade, just a little longer and he'd tap out!

Though these two, the sheer grins on their faces and contentment they had having this minor upper hand! It was unfuriating, almost mocking the girl! Something that with each blow that rang out against her body and weapon that seemed to stir a subtle sheen throughout all of her tatoos and a shifting aura! She knew those faces, the very same faces that laughted at her when she was caged, when her friends were picked to taken away... even when she was taken away! Unforgiveable! Had she not sworn to never forgive these people?!

Meanwhile... "Come... on~ Move, dumbo!" Rikke nothing short of cutely punched the 'seemingly-less-inteligent' grunt that managed to incidentally pin her down, as she'd wiggle and pull trying to free herself, all the while almost feeling the warm summers day.. grow chilly all around?

WIth a final sigh Duke stopped moving letting Irie wrench her blade free in time to meed one attack that hit her still very solidly. The effects of combat were starting to wear her down as she stumbled away from the strike only to get caught by a more solid one to her stomach. Thankfully it was a club and no dull blade. "We got her now Henry." "Yeah she is done for. Who is so tough now." Rikke felt the air shift cold as an unnatural wrongness filled the air. Her efforts to free herself halted as a more primal instinct held her firm. It would be better to either play dead or not appear a threat.

Nearby Irie's eyes had gone completely red. Her tattoo's writhed giving the two a sudden pause and a distinct lack of courage in the moment. They started to back away. Rikke knew however it was going to be far to late. She just hopped Irie had some sense left to her.
 
Just as the blade was pulled out, Iries thoughts already clouded so did the duo nothing short of blindside the girl with two blows! As the girl stumbled back, seemingly unable to stand... Yet just as the duo rejoiced-- Even from nearby felt the shift in the air happen "W-wait stop!" she'd call out to the duo bastards just as much as Irie, yet the distance and the echoes of the duo moving in to finish the fight with a pair of blows seemed to overpower the sole desperate voice of reason behind them!

"Got... me?" Irie spoke up, only for her voice to almost sound ethereal at this point, as if a second echo or something behind it sounded along with her! "N-No... Noone will have me again, noone!" she'd cry out "You take such pleasure in violence! Then allow me take you further to the abyss!" the runes previously subtly glowing, now suddenly light with a pulse as dark red smoke began to emit from them! Only for Henry after a pause and a desperate yell to lunge forward and potentially try to end the horror-- yet as the blow landed not only did Irie not flinch, her eyes hardly faltered as they locked onto the man and let loose a massive slash, lacking the technique of old, but now carrying a dreadful power.. and a true physical form!
