(The dead crab asplodes, it was fun.)

After she asked about the well being of the victim, she turned to her slowly and said.

"... Something's inside me..."

The girl curls into a ball and begins crying.

Her friend moves up next to her, and tries to comfort her.

The lights begin to come back on, but only dimly.

(Intelligence check)

Iris has no friggin clue why they aren't completely bright, as she isn't bright either.

There appears to be enough power to power the Tv, as it comes on when the lights do.

You hear an emergency broadcast.

Girl on the radio: "-afe haven at apple inn, hurry and get to apple inn, and bring weapons. This message repeats, There has been some kind of monster invasion, there is a safe haven at apple in, hurry and get to apple inn, and bring weapons."

The victim is still crying, and the other girl was listening with you.

"There's a safe haven! C'mon! We need to get there!"

The victim, began crying furiously, "Just leave me...."

"No! I won't leave you! We've got to make it together!"

The girl only continues to pout and her friend continues to try and convince her.

*What do you do?*

River quickly weighed her options. Ahe could stand and fight, but she still didn't know if Caliber was alright, and she owed him more than she could count. Making her decision, she makes a quick dash for one side of the creature, showing against the wall with her hand to change direction after only a step, feinting and trying to get past on the other side.

"Hmph." Iris went to herself after hearing what had happened on the television. Standing up, Iris thought to herself ' Monsters? Invasion? What the hell is going on?' Iris didn't know what was going on but she knew this. Staying in this building was a bad idea. There were going to be more freakish beasts and there was a good chance they were going to be stronger then a few crabs. Iris needed to get to that apple inn place. Iris wondered what to do with the two girls here. Looking at the mental condition of the balled up crying one there was a good chance she wasn't going anywhere. Looking at the friendship the other girl had for the girl who had been violated there was a good chance she wouldn't leave without her friend. Iris decided she would try to convince them to come with her. If they refused she was going to leave. Iris began talking with the girls.

" If you stay here there is a good chance you will both die. I'm leaving now for that safe haven, this is your only chance to come with me."

* Iris attempts to convince both girls to come with her now. If they refuse she just leaves. *

Upon observation, it's a horned dog.

Jillian aims at the monster

(Point blank, single aimed shot)

Your shot was adequate

The dog stumbles back in pain

(You've stunned your enemy)

(Coward drawback, you flee with your new found opportunity)

You run back to your car, the dog is not in sight.

You quickly hop in, and start the car.

(Unskilled driving check)

You've never been good at driving, and your manager was the one who always drove you, but you had enough intelligence to pull it off.

While driving, you turned on the radio...

With your next destination set, you drive to Apple Inn...

River tries to use her agility to overcome the slow monster.

(No DEX check needed, monster INT check failed.)

She quickly dodges past the monster, and goes to search for her friend.

But as it turns out, he already was coming to her rescue.

He aims his shotgun at the monster

Caliber: "Piece of shit"

(Ranged attack, single shot)

The ghoul stumbles back.

(Ranged attack, single shot)

The ghoul lands against the wall

(Ranged attack, single shot)

The ghoul collapses to the ground.

Caliber: "What would ya do without me?"

Iris sees how hopeless her attempts are, then proceeds out of the room.

You know how to drive, so all you need to do is get to your car.

You're in the first floor dorm hallway, the parking lot is just outside the building.

Caliber's tough, he just breezes your punch right off.

Caliber: "Well, yer always bitchin' about somethin'- Never mind, I heard somethin' on the radio that was talkin' about a, 'Safe Haven' held up at Apple Inn, I don't know what's goin' on, or what that little creeper was, but I'd rather you were safe."

Caliber starts swinging his car keys on his finger

Caliber: "Let's go for a ride."

Caliber leads you to his car, you both hop in and proceed to Apple Inn...

As Iris began to walk out of the first floor she breifly looked back at the direction the girls where at. They were on their own now. Iris doubted they would survive the rest of the night, heck she doubted they would survive the next hour. That crab she first saw would more then likly go after them. Keeping her guard up Iris turned away and began to walk out of the first floor to the parking lot.

* Iris leaves the building and goes to the parking lot. *

As Iris leaves the dormitory building, the sight before her makes her gasp in awe.

Dozens of those crabs were crawling everywhere around the building

Immediately, you head for your car

The creatures were not very fast, so it was easy to get past them.

You make it to your car, and remember that you left your windows open...

(( Sorry. Like I said I'm new to this type of role playing. I think I have the swing of things now. I edited the post. By the way you meant car windows right? ))

Iris got past the crab things, making her way to her car. Looking at all of the nasty looking crab things she then had a strong feeling tha those girls inside, and anyone else inside the building, were finished if these things made their way to them.

When the thought of her car windows being open, and she did see that they were infact open Iristhought to look inside the car before jumping in. There was a good chance something could be inside. She didn't want to risk an attack.

Also, many attempts at performing logical things require Intelligence, with her's being low, there's a good chance she wouldn't think about checking the car, however, this doesn't mean you shouldn't type that, no, no, no, I'm just letting you know that certain areas that your character is lacking might override what you might do, such as being smart and checking the car first.)

She was about to leap right into the car without a second thought(You rolled a 10 :|), but something made her stop, she decided to check the car first.

Upon opening the driver's side door, she just knew one of the little bastards would be waiting

(Fast reaction time)

*You can try to shoot it in mid-air and suffer a penalty to your accuracy roll, or dodge then shoot it, while it's immobile on the ground.*

When Iris opened the car door and saw the crab thing jump out from the car she jumped back, trying to avoid it by dodgeing it. When it landed on the ground she knew this was her best shot. Iris pulled her new gun out and took aim. She got ready to fire. She hoped she hit her target.

After dodgeing the enemy Iris fires her handgun three times at the enemy. She felt hopful her bullets would hit their mark and this crab would die. Then she could drive off to this safe haven she heard about on the television.

First shot is good

Your excitement caused you to shoot too early, and you accidentally shoot the innocent concrete.

Third shot is Adequate.

The crab's tough shell helped it survive your barrage, and it prepares to pounce.

the crab catches Iris off guard, but she manages to dodge.

Being carful, Iris took carful aim with her handgun and shot at the crab.

She then turns around, her hands on her hips as she prepares to face down the possible robber.

Christie jumped upon seeing the horror.

(Christie's been afflicted with minor fear, lost one essence point)

The creature has a fat, bug like body, two human looking legs, and in place of it's arms were tentacles. It was completely brown in color.

It's tentacles suddenly grow larger in size as they lash out towards Christie.

(Enemy attack)

One tendril wraps around her throat, the other around her leg as she's dragged towards the creature.

*What do you do?*

The crab leaps once more, in hopes of catching it's prey.

Iris is surprised as the usually slow crab latches onto her.

(Iris attacks, aimed ranged attack, point blank)

Aimed shot was MIND BOGGLING!

The crab falls off of her, and appears to be dead.


Breathing a sigh of relief at a close one, she hears a lot of loud chittering coming from behind her

She turns to notice a hoard of them coming straight for her.

(Fear check)

Iris quickly hops into the car, then drives off, squishing many of the little bastards along the way.

Along the drive, she preys to herself that Apple Inn is safe...
