I'm joining the chorus of disappointed voices. Sucks that it got delayed :(
But as the japanese like to say "It can't be helped", if he's sick, then he's sick.

It doesn't seem like it's been officially delayed. I admit this is fully semantics nitpicking, but an uncertain release date isn't the same as a delay.

Plus, don't gloss over the fact that even IN that email (and brought up in that thread), D-gate still intends to release it before the year is over, a point he's brought up in his blogposts as well.

Stay hopeful, guys.

I hope he makes a speedy recovery, not just because I am eager for Millia Wars but just his overall health.

Honestly, the latest i'd expect is mid january. Just hope the illness isn't from overwork ..You can tell on his blogs that he hasn't drawn nearly as much as he usually does. More focus on the game to meet deadline.

Not that I'm calling you out, but how would we know whether the game's been submitted or not?

The author updates their blog pretty much daily. They'll probably announce when they actually submit it.

He updates his blog daily, and also post alot on twitter, so if he submitted it, it should either be on his twitter or on his blog with a definitive release date like his previous games.

Yeah according to his blog on 21 dec ,development is in the last part already,if they can finish this all thats left is just debugging and minor stuff,he still seems to think he can release it in 2016

Well, I myself had chatted with him a bit before this month. His plans where always to get this out ether around, or after Christmas, and at the latest New Years. If he's able to plop the game in by the 26th, by the 31st it'll be up and valid for JP buying, and then the normal 7-9 day wait for the English side release.

Him and mo2 seem to have a history together as well, nether wants to tell me much though, so I've never had the privilege to get both working together...

I just found out about this two year old game today, what a surprise that there will be a remake!

Going by the latest update on the D-Gate, the release of the will be the 5th of January 2017 at the latest.

They also showed off the free battle mode which unlocks after completing the game on any difficulty and lets you fight up to 20 enemies at once. I hope it let's you choose the arena, though, I would prefer arena's with multiple levels of elevation.

Really? My Japanese is pretty bad, but I'm pulling about the opposite meaning.

Something about not being able to update for the first few days of the new year becasue of the holiday and the normal update schedule will resume on the 5th.

Seems to refer to the blog rather than the game, so I don't know if he's still gonna submit it during that window or if he's gonna take a break (Like going to visit family for new years or something) and the game won't be finished until after the 5th.
