So I ran into a game-breaking glitch: at one point in the third level, a lizardman walked off a cliff and I think the game still counts him as alive, as I can't progress. Kind of annoyed, seeing as how I think I was near the end and hadn't died once yet, but now I'm going to have to restart the entire thing to get past this. Those cybeles are a complete pain in the ass and now I'm going to have to fight through them all over again.

Yeah, trust me, I tried that for a good minute or two just in case. Couldn't jump down, either, as the game considers it a hole and you just teleport back up. So, uh, be careful as you're playing through the third level and make sure you kill any lizardmen before they go suicidal and ruin the game for you.

Yeah, trust me, I tried that for a good minute or two just in case. Couldn't jump down, either, as the game considers it a hole and you just teleport back up. So, uh, be careful as you're playing through the third level and make sure you kill any lizardmen before they go suicidal and ruin the game for you.

I had the opposite problem. They kept throwing me off. :/

So I'm a complete newbie to buying things from foreign sites. About how much in American dollars does this game cost in total? I don't know if there are taxes or anything like that.

Who were you playing? I just finished as Usaco on normal and didn't die once (though I'm still steamed that I had to restart level 3 because of that damned lizardman). I literally had a sliver of health left during that nonstop meteor shower at the end, but somehow managed to avoid them all. Talk about harrowing. As I said earlier, though, she felt hilariously overpowered to me. Tip to future players: her gun shoots faster if you're crouching.

My card was charged $13.03, as well, and to the guy who didn't want this showing up on his card, this is what it looks like:

I literally had a sliver of health left during that nonstop meteor shower at the end, but somehow managed to avoid them all. Talk about harrowing. Was playing as Mirea. Since she focuses mostly on close range, I was eaten a few times and spit out into a hole. Didn't kill me though. The only time I died was on the first boss, and a few times on the last boss.
Usaco is fun to play as, since she makes it feel like I'm playing Metal Slug.

I also can't get nude mode to work, for some reason; I have it turned on and yet it's not actually removing their clothing. Any ideas why? I'm starting to think it just adds another tier to clothing destruction, which is slightly disappointing.

I did manage to get a hold of the game from the JAP site. Good stuff.

The Queen Bee(second boss) is ridiculously hot. I think her and the final boss could have stood to have much huger breasts, though.

My favorite's probably the Killer Bee's grab animation where they bind/gag the girl with their legs, but unfortunately it's not a sustained one and goes by pretty quickly. Their animation in conjunction with the Queen Bee is pretty nice, too. Honestly, my biggest complaint with the game is the same one I had back when the demo first released: I really think the sprites would look better if they had an outline or they at least had some darker, more varied shades in them. As it stands, it's kind of hard to see all of the little details very well.

The thing is your clothes get restored when you die and it wastes a lot of time trying to strip your character off. I know it's kinda annoying....

In free battle mode you can just set your character's clothing to nude any time you want tho.

How would you guys feel if camel contacted the creator of Shantae to have the characters as guest girls in Milia Wars DX? Because I think those girls would fit right in.

That's what I surmised in my post, yes. The main problem I have with it is that the bosses aren't in free mode, which means you have to either use Cheat Engine to keep yourself from dying as you slowly get stripped if you want to see the boss animations while nude beforehand (like in the gif I posted above), or beat up the other enemies to restore your health while doing so. It's nothing major, but I'm sure some people would prefer for the characters to be nude before being digested by the bosses.

I'm pretty sure Wayforward wouldn't be too happy about the idea of having their flagship character get anal vored by a giant bee girl considering how tame the slime girl is in Half Genie Hero.
