Re: Millia/Echidna Wars DX - ミリア戦記DX
Hi guys, first post in .. forever, long time lurker. >.>;
I got this game version pirated, I played it and... I went to the DlSite, right after finishing it, to buy it. And I'm not really into vore. It's just that good.
As "imercenary" stated, Indie game development is barely profitable and only the ones who like the works they provide stick around for a while, merely for the passion of it. But this can lasts only this long. Don't be blind to that fact because it sells well.
Between Dlsite share, the taxes and the few peoples they paid for extra stuff like musics, and other misc we don't always think have cost, 50-60% of what is earned by a game doesn't go in the developer's pocket. Then there are at least two peoples to split what remains.
How long did it take to make this game? A year? That doesn't make much per month, isn't it?
We need more of this stuff. Seriously. Make it interesting for them to keep going! I'm not condemning peoples who pirates, but those do not have any right to complain about "not many good games recently", really.
