I'm guessing that "nymphal" value is a lust/corruption thing. You could probably call it "depravity" in that case.

I guess the main problem is that the menu uses it twice, once as an adjective and then again as a noun. We also have no idea how they're going to be used and what makes them different.

Thanks for this. Also, not!Amygdala has an incredible animation. I really hope the quality of the monsters stay this high throughout development. It also seems like you get a new weapon for beating it, a super heavy red sword.

It's the exact same red sword as all the item "drops". Press E while touching the large glowing orbs to grab them. The demo should have 6+ copies of the red sword.

dammit! D-Lis should make this game 'Steam'able!
He (or She) have more skills in making games more than 'those' developers on Steam

I take it the red glowing orb close to the first boss is an unimplemented feature?

There are two choices, leaving the orb alone or awakening it. The latter choice doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm guessing the "Outfit" tab is just a poor choice of word for various equipment, right? It would blow my mind if this game had outfits planned in the future.

One of them respawns the boss to fight him again.

Just the boss or all enemies in the demo?

Either way, it's the bottom choice that respawns something.

The red ball thing respawns the boss. Clicking the altar in the cave respawns the regular enemies, like in a Souls game.

I know what inspired this game, but never played any of the games in that particular franchise.

Good to know since there is no readme explaining game mechanics beyond the controls at the home base.

The game seems to assume that you already played one or two of them and focuses on being like them. Kinda like how a game called Creature Hunter was trying to be a turn-based Monster Hunter game but also with porn.

I read someone mention earlier in the thread that they tried to do a "backstab" move or something? While I never did that in the game, if you parry an enemy and they stumble back for a second (including the boss), you can go up to them and a symbol with a sword will appear above their heads. If you press the use button, then you can do an auto sword combo. It kind of reminds me of Bloodborne's visceral attacks. Assuming you've played Bloodborne, I mean.

But yeah, this game is pretty impressive for only being in an alpha. Though it's just gonna make me impatient for the real deal, I'll gladly wait for this kind of content. Now I want to go back and play Bullet Requiem.

Advantages compared to simply hacking the stunned enemy manually:

1. Combo is "free" as it doesn't use SP.
2. If there are active enemies nearby, they'll remain active but their attacks won't hurt the player while the animation is running.
3. Future demo versions will reward players who kill enemies in this way. Possibly in the form of HP recovery or the like.

How are you guys doing the parries in the first place? Is it just a timed block, or some different button?

If you press up and block, you do a riposte. But yeah, there's still timing. Scarecrow and the boss are rather easy to get the pattern down, but the goblins are a bit trickier. Never tried on the slime, though.
