A quick count suggests that mages get no less than 59 spells just for being mages at character creation.

I don't know if that's really the short end of the deal, even though it isn't anything new (and isn't particularly powerful, necessarily). >.>

There will be tea and scone preparation exams in addition to the interview as well, be advised. Best brush up on your tea time skills if you hope to make it.

@Gargantuanblarg: Mages still get the ability to nuke things for half the cost of spirit users, and the ability to auto counter any mage/spirit if they go Arcane '-'... Don't really see the problem there.

20 EP Nightmare Aura or 20 EP Gorgon's Gaze (not counting penalties, though they're so small that they might as well not exist.).

DC 100 (base) Resistance Check to not wet yourself like a little girl and run away, or DC 80 to not turn to stone outright/be paralyzed for an instagib right after. Pick your poison. No Save, just die. Oh and the former includes, a + 60 to dodge and + 60 to base melee damage. Sweet dreams?

Keep in mind, with potable demon pet and life leech sense, you will never get a first strike in a real scenario :p.

So it's the demon lord I should worry about, not Enigma? Sounds about right. Tassadar should give you more friends to make up for your weakness.

Not at all. I was just misled when I heard of Enigma's reknown, and was rather amused at how weak she truly is individually. Should I be just as fortunate to inherit such allies, I'll gladly pay you a visit and put you in your place~ As on even grounds, you cannot compare to me.

Also, people are yelling at me for trolling here. :( Bye bye, until I join DG3 at least.

Only fools play on even ground ;). And in the event you do try to visit, I'd have everything rigged in my favor in advance. As to how weak she is individually, I digress, I was actually aiming for flavor rather than number crunching/min maxing. If I were to aim for the Incubus route, I'd stat her differently altogether. Tata till DG3 Raptortroll.

Woah, wait. You were aiming for flavor? All I've seen was cocksizing, rather than arguments on how interesting Enigma is. I thought you were doing the 'Incubus route' thing? If not, then what was the point of even boasting about your stats?

I'm just sayin', that's the impression I got. The very first thing I heard about Enigma was from Tassadar when he was telling me, 'she's so powerful, hasn't gotten raped yet.' I still, to this moment, haven't heard an opinion on her character, and not her character 'sheet.' So I've pretty much been going on the, what I believe to be pretty solid, belief that Enigma is pretty much all stats, patched together with a herp derp character that doesn't require much thought.

No offense to Keylo, since even he said Enigma doesn't require much thinking to play. So I assumed he was just in it for the lulz.
