Awesome. SethK takes the lead for finding them bugs.Found a bug! If you die and get grappled, you're able to break out of it and continue running with 0 HP (Until you're hit again of course)
Good sir, I have the crouch function already, it's actually just missing the crouch sprite. Game design has it that you have to crouch'n'shoot some of the monsters. Crouch will be in the next update.I have a couple of other criticisms. Firstly, the syringes arc over the enemies if they are too close. Might be worth adding a crouch, or changing thier directory.
Secondly, I personally dont think that the struggle before insertion should last infinately until one side wins. If it goes on too long, it should be an auto loss, have a timer or something on it.
I was taking on these 'huge goals' you were talking about just awhile back. Realized, and now having a much more realistic approach. And no, I'm gonna be keeping that earlier game in my safe for awhile.I'm enjoying this thus far. I like your realistic approach on game dev, since most people think they can pull off a game with huge goals, and then quit when reality hits.
Looks like this could be good, but there's actually a different forum on this site meant specifically for people who are making games themselves: http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/forumdisplay.php?f=183
The [Incomplete] tag is usually reserved for those games made by people who don't visit this forum.
Why it's a bio-lab housing testing of numerous monsters so I can pretty much put in anything. But I don't want to put in anything ... the enemies have to match that of the environment (still figuring on this). The same can be said with the bosses. So, what kinda enemies/bosses do you have planned thus far? Just to sate my curiosity.![]()
I'm building a list of "nice-to-have" features and have taken note of this point. I have to tend to building tilesets and backgrounds at the moment to build the proper feel to the game. Meanwhile the "nice-to-have"s will remain secondary. My only complaint was the window size. Maybe, if you don't want to size everything up, you can have a zoom function during H scenes?
I thought of putting it up there but there seem to be a whole lot of activity here. Thinking that more activity = more input regarding bugs and possible improvements to the game, I put it here.but there's actually a different forum on this site meant specifically for people who are making games themselves: [Under Construction thread]
I'm definitely buying, but currently torn between actually getting the GM8.1 Standard or GM:Studio. GM:Studio allows for games to be made in Wndows and Mc OS X.
