Re: Dead Space Frequency

I agree this Game is shit made by shitty Dev, to shit us move in the face. I managed to...ahem..."Pro Shoot" them eventually. By aiming "Legs" then immediately switch to arms. Its fucking horrible!

Its like someone tried to past a Aim Hack automaticly forced of a childbirth inside a Game. And that forced childbirth of a Aim Hacker derped all the way, only to hit a wall and get more stupid.

Talking about Scenes. You have to collect Mass of the enemies to produce a Clone and "Willingly" let yourself get controlled by it? It doesn't make any sense...whatsoever.

I give this game -10/10. Cause its shit. And its created by a shitty Dev. To again, shitting us in the face. When the he created the other Game Series of his. They were far better and more promising. Keeps quitting Projects, making new ones. Further onwards. He fucks up more and more. Ruining his ways.

Its...gah. I'm gonna go and find something to relieve my frustration on.
as a game i newly found and frankly its control is SHIIIIIITT~
"well i rather have keyboard control than mouse controlled shit anytime" and i could never find the save point o.o for the life of me~... *if only your able to move while you shoot it would become interest if arrow key's were used* "seriously better control is what's lacking ;D*
"ill choose demophobia anytime"

_something still being created and worked on, but put on a site to show that it's being done_
So practically anything that lately comes out of those pitiful LoK forums and gets abandoned soon after. Let's just give up.

I enjoyed Dusty's Castle, though!

I was really disappointed with this too, I don't know why he would make the enemies that fast when you're also supposed to be clicking where you want to move, and no save points anywhere, and the instructions are terrible.

Not his best work yet, that's for sure.

Re: Dead Space Frequency

Guys like Gorepete have great ideas, but by continually developing in Flash is a waste of time. I was really looking forward to his Samus platformer, but its dead.

A game like this would be better suited in something like GameMaker, but if you're going that far you might as well just wait for HotB.

Even his last one with the succubus had some really keyboard-bashing 'gotcha' moments.

Re: Dead Space Frequency

Ok, looking at that as a "proof of concept" game, its BAD. The creator is reaching for the moon and falling on his face (6+ levels of that "laboratory"? Thats a big ass game!)

Re: Dead Space Frequency

The control scheme is shit. Use arrow keys to move, use the mouse to shoot. Using the mouse to move and shoot is fucking dumb.

Re: Dead Space Frequency

1. they all make games for free and have no obligation to finish them as all money given to individual creators is donations
2. I thought everyone knew Gorepete would stop working on it quickly
3. the games aren't bad for what you're [not] paying for

1) This doesn't help their reputation a single bit.
2) Since it comes from LoK forums, yeah, we could see it coming.
3) Considering Toffisama's games are completely free, they're not bad, they are terrible for what
we're (not) paying for. This does not mean in any way that quality shouldn't be repayed, but doesn't
mean that someone should have to pay for a game to have a barely decent controls layout either.

1. their reputation doesn't matter

3. I'm not understanding what the point you're trying to say is

Re: Dead Space Frequency

The way I see it, yeah we're not paying for it, but what's the point of even sharing something that is not fun, clunky, and badly designed from the ground up? I could try to make a game and shove it at you guys, but I know nothing about production. Is that even worth my, or anyone's time?

Also, this guy has done good stuff before. I thought Dusty's Castle was amazing. So why not put effort into this one?

only a few of the games are notably "not fun, clunky, and badly designed"
and most of those stop being made pretty quickly

they want people's feedback on the games while they're making them so that they know what people want in the game
two people in the forum, HartistaPipebomb and Ivan-Aedler, seem to plan to do things outside of free porn game programming (I'm not sure about the creators of other projects because these are the only two projects that interest me)

Dead Space Frequency is still in production (obviously hasn't been updated for over a month and won't be updated a while because of personal problems that Gorepete is having in real life,) and had only been updated twice. seeing as he had made this out of the blue and after contemplating quitting making games, this was probably just a test with controls

Re: Dead Space Frequency

The negativity is strong with this thread...

TBH. I found the game to hold quite a bit of promise, even thought it's mostly a tech demo. I've been looking forward to a dead space themed porn game for awhile and, let's face it, there is never enough interactive sci-fi horror porn to go around, so I'm grateful for whatever can be conjured up. I'll be following this with interest and just hopes he goes through with the project.

Gorepete, furthermore, has come a long way from someone who was toying with left over animations from LoK and Playshapes, to creating a couple of reasonably ambitious games all with his own art and programming. That takes serious dedication and gives him more credibility than 99.9998% of the dipshits that otherwise infest teh internet.

1) Fixed for you.
3) I said that you're treating the fact that they let you download their games (or at least their embryos) for free
like an excuse for their games to be of poor quality or abandoned. Toffisama's games are free, and high quality
too, and from what I remember he has always finished what he started. Nobody is expecting HD graphics and superb
animation, but we would like to at least expect that what gets started also gets finished, otherwise why would the
author ask for feedback?

P.S.: gratz to the guy who gave me negative reputation on the previous post with the reason "Jesus loves you".
I got bad news for ya: Jesus is dead. Hail Satan.
