Basically the Gladiator chick joined and I lost on purpose but I was thrown into the the dungeon with the king I already killed with only 2 party members xD

I thought Demon's Root started out close to King's Exit timeline, only different places.
There was a continuation for Demon's Root, I think, some trailer showing some few people the we might know got captured by some one (the trailer started out as some underbudget kid's cartoon, but the end shows That).

That would explain why Mtool (I use Bing option) translation uses he/him pronouns for female characters.

Kagura resets the numbering to v1.00 for their versions to make it clear saves etc are not compatible with the dlsite version. It should still have dlsite's 1.10 content.
It's also up to v1.02 now with another bugfix patch

It's possible to win at that point if Lily inflicts bleed early and you get lucky with its moves and Deathpolca's ultimate (she obviously needs the fire shield equipped). Alternatively there's an item you can buy at the game's weird hentai casino equivalent not too long afterwards that weakens it. Dunno how much by since I'd killed it by then.

Its a depressing environment for sure, but its pretty much an alternative dungeon without any save-points. From a gameplay loop perspective, its pretty innovative (or at least, very retro / inspired from games a long time ago). Looking at guides, it seems like there's 21 floors. And since the characters stats are so low, you have to plan the use of every item and plan exactly every combat if you want any hope of actually reaching there.

Its not my kind of game. Its... kind of like a turn-based Tower of Druaga where no matter what you lose at the end (IE: Woops, that item on the 3rd floor was needed to get past the 6th floor. If you didn't get it, you lose. No save, start back from the beginning). An old school puzzle, they don't make games like this today. And yet... it makes sense as a "mini-game / extra dungeon" that exists only in the 'bad ending' of this game.

The main game, at least the first couple of chapters, is pretty easy. But with absurdly difficult extra bosses littered around. RPGs can be self-balancing like that: a casual player can skip the strong bosses, while a "hardcore" RPG player can try to defeat them.

Overall, I think its a well designed RPG. Albeit with some ancient "Nintendo-hard tropes" in the "locked bad end" that I haven't seen in decades. The hard bits are always optional. The mainline story is good enough and there for the writing, clearly.

This is definitely a "buy for the game" rather thn the H / Ero.

I'm a little bit stuck at the point around you are told to go to the nursery:

The entire southern continent has been taken by demons, then a curse/plague deforms a bunch of demons. You are told to go to the nursery, the flying demon says to reach the nursery through the tunnel, but I cant see any way out of the tunnel, just the entrance. The tunnel is filled with those stone golems + some gems, and even after defeating them all theres no passage out of the tunnel, have tried activating every wall...Is there another tunnel? I cant see any other than the one after going through the hole in the floor. Where am I supposed to go exactly?

EDIT: the tunnel area i keep referring to is called "Monster House", but there are only stone golems here...
