Edited the OP, there's a fair bit more content than it had in the beginning. I would say it's still half baked, but it's sitting around 15 ~ 20 HCG now with all the new events you can find by random encounters. I recommend using a translation tool like mtool to help guide you with a translated UI.

i tried mtool and it broke the game entirely for me, I'll have to try again and see if any of the updates fixed it

It didn't break for me, although trying to select an option in those prompt menus seems to have been affected at some point. The dev is aware of this I believe.
