if i understand this right , no one can see or attack my boss until i ask for help. or can my friends always help ? :confused:

But yeah, asking again, what's the deal with the three new cards on the intro screen and the notifications? It seems to point towards that point-only SR Box thing for them, but I also see the new N card on the banner for the regular gacha. Are they only from points, or are they just new additions that can also be obtained from there?

Also, the prize list seems to have some mumbo jumbo with a big "UP" in it for reaching 200,000 EP. Anyone know what that is?

No idea about the giant text thing. I'm curious about that. And those cards shown have been added the Rare Gacha.

From what I understand the new cards act as multipliers for damage done in boss fights. If you have the SR for example, it's your power x 1.7-2, so it's like nearly doubling your damage whenever you attack. The difference of 1.7 to 2 might have something to do with the card's level. Well, I guess aiming for the N card for a slight damage boost might be nice.

^this is pretty spot-on, I believe.

Ah, new events are always good to check which one of your friends are inactive... I removed 18 people from my list. (some of the people on the first post list are also inactive, but I'll give them a bit more time)

I have not once called for help yet. Every boss I've had, I've killed myself. I've even helped others out while I had a boss myself. :p I'm easily gonna hit that 200K mark. But I'm aiming, for the... 400K mark. I want those reveal cards!

finally got the new N card :D
but my question is , is the damage boost only active if the card is in the deck or is it always active and does it count for all cards or only other N cards or is it an overall damage boost no matter what :confused:

Here's a guide for the event.

SS Punitive

The event is about battling bosses and getting Event Pero (EP). The EP that you get is based on 1/100 of the total damage that you dealt to the boss. The boss should be killed in order to get EP and excess damage against the boss doesn't count.

Damage

Your damage against the boss is based on two things:
1. Total Hypnotic Power (THP) - this is based on the total stats of allyour cards and not based on the 5 cards which you chose for your profile cards (the 5 cards that you chose which appears in the home screen). You can find your and your friends THP on the friend list below the screen.

2. Multiplier - when you battle a boss, you can choose to two different types of attack, Weak Hypnosis which costs 1 Hypnotic Charge (HC) and Best Hypnosis which costs 6 HC.

Weak Hypnosis has a multiplier which has a range of 0.10 - 0.20
Best Hypnosis has a multiplier of 1.

Damage = THP X Multiplier

So which attack is better to use?
If you attack with Weak Hypnosis 6 times, the average multiplier is (0.10 + 0.20)/2*6 = 0.90. This means that on average you will deal 90% of your THP, which is less than choosing Best Hypnosis which always deals 100% of your THP.

However, remember that excess damage doesn't count so it's better to use Weak Hypnosis if the boss HP is very low.


EP Multiplier
There is also a EP Multiplier depending on how well you do in battling a boss.

1. MVP - deal the most damage to the boss. Has a EP Multiplier of 2.
2. Hypnotist - last hit the boss. Has a EP Multiplier of 2.
3. MVP and Hypnotist - deal the most damage and last hit the boss. Has a EP Multiplier of 3.


THP Multiplier
There are event cards which can be gotten from gacha which will increase the THP in the calculation of your damage. The N card can be gotten from Normal gacha while the R and SR card which have higher multiplier can be gotten from Event Gacha. You don't need to put the card in your profile cards to get the effect.


Rewards List
The boss should be defeated in order to get the rewards. You also get rewards from helping your friends as long as the boss is defeated.

Help Items from Shop
1. Aphrodisiac (Pink Bottle
It costs 5,000 perocoins and it halves the HP of the boss. However, the damage dealt to the boss isn't counted in calculating the EP that you will get.

2. Nostrum (Orange Bottle)
It costs 5,000 perocoins and using it removes the boss that you are currently fighting. You do not get any EP from using this.


Friend Support
After battling a boss once, you can ask for your friends help by clicking on the blue button which has a thumbs up sign. As long as you don't ask for support, your friends won't see the boss that you are currently fighting.


Ranking
There are two types of ranking with different rewards:
1. EP Ranking
It's based on your Total EP. The rewards are better compared to the second one but you need to use peropurins and peronamins to get a high rank.

2. Support Ranking
It's based on the number of times you've supported your friends so you should often support your friends.

lesher can you please make an Events Guide section in the front page and put this under it for easy access in the future? Because I think the events rotate among Licking Colosseum (PVP event), SS Punitive (Boss event), and Licking Daisakusen (I still haven't encountered this event because I've just recently started. I'll probably make a guide for the two events when they come.

Over 150K Ep so far, and that's only been done in a span of 14-16 hours. Not bad, if I do say so myself. If I keep this up, I could hit the 1 mill mark by the end of the event. Course, i'm aiming for 400K. Reveal cards are so worth it.

I'm only at 98k EP and I'll only aim for the 150k EP mark. It costs me a lot of peropurin just to kill a boss and it's mostly because my THP is low (98k). Once I reach that mark I'll start supporting friends for the ranking and the drops.

You should actually call for help. Not for the part of really needing help, but for assists which give rewards and also raise your assist ranking.

What I do is attack a boss with the weak HP attack, then call for assists. If people manage to take it down fast enough, I don't mind and simply respawn the next one.

The problem with asking for help is it makes it difficult to gain EP. It's better to first reach the EP mark that you want and then start asking for help and assisting your friends.

EP seem to be gained quite naturally if you do bosses regularly I think. 2nd day now and I've got more than 100k. Unless your aim are the really really high rewards for the 750k or 1m EP(which are still easily obtainable if you play each day) you wouldn't need that much EP.

Or you might be going for the rankings. I can't help there, the 1st guy has like 13m EP on the 2nd day of the event, that's plain crazy.

You can check may post in page 18 to see how you gain EP.

Asking for help makes it difficult to gain EP because it reduces your EP multiplier. Soloing a boss gives you 3X EP. Asking for help might reduce this multiplier to 2 or none at all because you need to deal the most damage and last hit the boss at the same time. Also, assuming that you are able always do those two things, you actually lose 3 EP for every 100 damage that your friends deal.

The reason why you should first solo bosses until you attain the EP that you want is because the HP of the bosses increases as you defeat it. Once you can no longer solo a boss because its HP is too high (and you ran out of peronamins), you'll need to start asking for help which will reduce your EP multiplier and consequently make it harder to attain the EP that you want. You might not be able to attain your goal EP because your EP gain has decreased.

Well, this problem is more felt by people who have low THP, like me. I only have 100k and if I ask for help, I don't get any multiplier. One attack of Best Hypnosis gives me 1k EP, while this attack is worth 3k EP if I solo and defeat the boss.

You might be right, but still, I like the idea of sharing bosses in case someone wants to get assists and stuff.

If you are worried about the multiplier, you can get the boss to half hp then ask for help, so that you can keep the x2 multiplier and people get assists :)
