Alright, look. All I ever do is lurk on here and occasionally PM someone who is offering password information. I'm a spriter and game-maker myself, although I've not done any H-content (yet). Dot_Slave3, I know from experience how much work goes into even just making a spaceship tilt, or making engine-jets look interesting. And there are a couple of sprite h-game artists on here that I consider to be some of the best spriters, for the sheer fact that they're a one-man show. Kyrieu is one of them, along with the guys who made Iris Action and Unholy Sanctuary/Jail. I also consider Shoegazer to be good, but that's mostly for his larger artwork.
In any case, I consider you to be in that mix as well, Dot_Slave. You make really good, well animated, large(r) scale sprites. And the fact it's just you making these larger-than-average high-quality sprites, and not a team of spriters working for Konami or Capcom, speaks volumes in my not too humble opinion. I would like to think that eventually I could do human sprites well enough to make a decent sprite-based H-game of similar quality to Parasite in the City, Enroico, Unholy Sanctuary, Iris Action, or Kurovadis. But hell, I'll be happy if I can even find the time to finish a damn top-down space shooter.
So, don't lose heart. And de-mystify the greats. If we all kept getting depressed about not matching games like King of Fighters, or Seiken Denetsu 3, none of us would ever be able to finish anything. So keep up the good work!
