well problem is if i get money from patreon i have to show something to
investor but i can not imagine how i can sending game to only investor
that't why i say will be "free release"

and if i have good luck i get 10,000$ monthly
it's enough to me and my programmer

I really recommend Patreon. I definitely don't regret using it for my project. You simply have to figure out how to structure your campaign around multiple releases as opposed to one. For mine I'm doing it per content update, which seems like something you could do. You can still release the "retail version" on DLSite or wherever else once it is done.

Can you release an uncensored version through your Patreon to your supporters or through your personal website, and sell the censored version on dlsite? I know there are several factors I have left out of this question like locale, for instance, but I'm just curious what you know about this. Like, if dot_slave can release an uncensored version through his own avenues and Patreon but would be forced to censor through dlsite.
Your project has quite a few contributors and it's your first project as far as I'm aware. A 'Parasite' sequel should prove to be quite successful on Patreon since it is quite well known. There are plenty of people who know and love the first game and have no idea what ulmf is or what his dev blog even is. Imagine if word got out to all of those people, dot_slave.

That's what I'm aiming to do. I'm not certain how his location would affect his ability to legally do that as I'm not aware of the laws in his area for distributing adult content (or if those even matter in this case).

Sorry about the long posts. As someone who purchased the first game from you, I would still buy the next, censored or not. However you want the project to turn out.

It's different groups of people, first because patreon supporters are "patrons", they're giving money to support the project. After it's done, people are just buyers.

And dlsite's audience is composed of people who don't necessarily follow patreon projects. But that's why dlsite charges such a large percentage of the price, because they bring in their audience.

It sucks the censoring is compulsory, but what can you do.

In any case, it's up to each creator to release their game in whatever format he or she wishes

what? patreon peoples give a money to dev for just support?
that's make no sense to me
and i'm not a positive about world market
my last game made 10357 sell
japan dlsite 8863
english dlsite 1494
still japan market is best big market
if i just use patreon without upload game i can not imagine success

One problem with Patreon is the way people can sign up, get downloadable content, then remove their support pledge before they are paid.

I don't know Patreon is working on this problem or not.

I'm just gonna say I'm more interested in how her clothes get torn off of her rather than what she is wearing. Constant change suggestions are just going to become irritating with every costume change. Just my two cents.
But since we've had a re design I guess at least 6 posts of "change this/leave that" are to be expected.
It should be noted that I do like the new design.

Well, jeez. That design and spritework is far better than any of the others. I guess practicality trumps porn this time!
