So. Here's my latest attempt at an RP, this time I'm going to stick with it until not capable of posting.
The year is 2220.
The entire world has been buried beneath miles and miles of garbage. Humanity now survives on fungi and the extremely dangerous fauna that have survived the massive Trashpocalypse. Humanity clusters around small towns where the garbage still in orbit rarely falls. Many times, a new area is found where garbage leaves relatively unscathed, and there, a mining expedition commences, first digging into the trash to find riches and relics, but later forming into a town. Humanity barely survives, but they do survive.
You all are mercenaries, charged with protecting one of these mining expeditions as they work. You have been given some simple weapons, clubs, staves, and swords made from the giant fungi forests which dot the world. Some of you may even have found the parts from the surrounding trash heaps to construct a fungus cannon, which uses a special type of combustible fungus to propel a projectile or a multitude of junk at the enemy. Some of you may have found pots and pans capable of blocking the mightiest of blades, and others may have fashioned hides of the dangerous predators in the world into armor.
Now, you protect these miners as they search for their precious relics and junk.
