The 0.9 public update will bring with it another city-state in the form of Valos! Although I initially planned to finish Rathpike first, I reasoned since Rathpike's sidequests are mostly in + its main questlines are both startable to an extent, I should start fleshing out Valos now so that people who took the prologue branch to Valos can do something instead of being stuck.

Also a change of scenery is always nice.

Monsters are also coming into the game, and they play a big part in the mercenary questline.

All in all, I recommend starting a new save just to really savor everything that's been added in.

I know that Claire isn't a warrior-heroine that powers through random encounters when traveling between towns, so how are the monster encounters going to go down? Since some of your descriptions indicate that some monsters need to be slain as parts of quests I don't imagine fleeing is going to be our heroine's only option.

I can only imagine it comes with some kind of item requirement, so more like get Item A for monster A some sort. This also indicate that there prolly no random encounter nor level grinding.

or maybe similar to the first monster encounter (the orcs) in the forest during prologue, the only option is to play dead, maybe somewhere like that.

The interesting thing about writing Claire is that she's not a trained fighter or anything. She realistically can't slay a monster in combat. So to beat monsters, Claire must rely on a combination of wits, reading about lore that gives hints as to how to beat them, and finding unique items that work well against specific monsters. Of course, a coward with the right equipment won't be much use. Slaying monsters as Claire therefore relies on a high Defiance + the right item/lore combination.

First off just want to say I really like the game. It's got really good potential to grow.

2ndly it appears that a few things were broken during my mostly virgin run. I have to give the old man a chance to squeeze Claire's breasts to get the last remaining 5 silvers to have the bounty hunter sneak me out of the mercenary camp, but other then that Claire was pure for my first run.

The whore quest will never complete even if you make the antidote.

Also, the information gathering quest for Sally won't complete either.

And the monsters never attack me when I went into the forbidden areas for the Tiger Lilly or underground?

These three issues most likely have to do with the fact that I avoid all the H encounters, but I still want to report this as a buggy.

Hi Architect, just wondering, is there anyway you could bring a boss or some sort? as claire's quest don't have any combat system this could be troublesome, but I do think that having a boss (or some climax scene with a specific enemy) during a chapter would be awesome.

There is one. The kraken in Rathpike can technically be considered a 'boss'! The questlines also end with a confrontation with faction leaders.

Some of the new art and features are IMMEDIATELY accessible, too. Just walk out into the woods at the beginning of the game and keep an eye out for monsters.

I don't know if it's just me but after learning how to pick locks and having lockpicks, I can't open the chest in the horse breeder's house.

That happens to me too. It just says "maybe if you had a lockpick you could open it" whenever I try, whether I have a lockpick or not.

I have no idea how to get the Kraken Gameover scene. Does it have something to do with that boat past that dog in the backyard scene? Well I should say first, is it even an H-scene? Or is it like the Ogre scene where it's just a death state?

Thanks for spotting the lockpick bug guys, I'm gonna look into it.

The kraken gameover scene first necessitates you get Sally's quest, which allows you to head west in Rathpike, which then lets you get to Narfu, which is where you can learn about the kraken then go southwards to the cove it lives in, at which point just walking up to it will trigger the scene.

The aphrodisiac is a placeholder item at the moment. It comes into play during certain questlines, which are not in-game yet.

Wow, I've had this game downloaded(well, 0.7.2 anyway) for months and haven't played it until last night...

It's great, I love all the options available not many h games do that. The writing is pretty good too, even the text only scenes are pretty hot.


Not sure why I fail to check out English games when it can be so much more enjoyable to actually be able to read everything in them...



As I understand it's a lot harder to get translations with RPG Maker MV but damn mouse only controls are awesome.
