FGT Scat Loli Ryona Guro [Eluku] Fairy Fighting

Re: Fairy Fighting

Also about the directory stuff, it's a bit of bullshit, cause you can always manipulate the system to accept any directory you put the game in; and in this case that never was the problem and I can assure it isn't the problem now.
So did you actually TRY moving the folder around, or did you just assume that the Enterbrain programmers would be prepared for all of the crap you can possibly put into a path name? Because I DID have that problem, back in the day, and THAT is how I fixed it.

I'll assume that you do have administrator rights (you shouldn't need them, but who knows?). This program does not need Japanese non-Unicode settings, so you won't need that or AppLocale. This program also does not use Adobe Flash Player in any way, so whatever problems you're having with that are not causing the problem with Fairy Fighting.

Files missing from the program directory will cause it to crash at various points. Counting the EXE and the configuration file "game.ini", you should have twenty-seven different files in your program directory.

----------
And just to be sure, I decided I'd force a crash. If your path name has a period in it, it'll crash
:
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\Matt\Desktop\This.crashes.it\FairyFighting
Then it'll crash. Just as you described.

WINDOWS doesn't mind it. I can go in and dork around with the files all I want, fiddle with 'em in Notepad, copy, rename, delete, whatever. But the GAME does.

And guess what? The path name for the desktop on a WinXP Gateway looks like this:
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\OwnerName.ComputerName\Desktop
So go and double-check that.

I just meant that it's quite possible to force the libraries developed by Enterbrain to accept any path you've chosen to put the games that use those libraries.

Anyway as nothing else comes to mind. I did try changing paths and nothing...
Also my directories are "clean". Meaning, they have a name for each folder. Period.

Something that caught my atention was that you said that would be 27 files on the .rar file and amazingly I only had 26 extracted. So I guess there's something wrong with the download. I'm downloading it again and checking if I find any corruption on files.

Thanks for the info and I'll be back with news soon.

Edit: OK! I'm really freaking out... I still have 26 files from that download, can someone upload their downloaded file to me?

Either you fail at reading comprehension, or you fail at writing comprehension, as you do not address the question of whether any of your folder names have periods in them, or not.

And you also make the assumption that somebody using the Enterbrain fighting engine actually runs it through a compiler. HAH! Have you actually WORKED with it before? Or any similar Maker-type games?

You don't compile RPGMaker games. You don't compile MUGEN games. This ain't , here.

So I'm going to repeat myself once more. The crash is caused by the executable being unable to find the file with the same name but with the extension .KGT. So "FairyFighting.EXE" looks for "FairyFighting.KGT", and if it can't find it, you get "window blinks on, window blinks off". This can be caused by A) the file not being present in the same directory, or B) a period being present in one of the parent directories's names.

And before you tell me your directories are "clean", I'm going to tell you that "your desktop" is not "a root directory of a hard drive". It is a folder of its own, located (depending on your version of Windows) at "C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Desktop". So go into "My Computer", find your hard drive, and PUT THE GAME THERE.

Something that caught my atention was that you said that would be 27 files on the .rar file and amazingly I only had 26 extracted. So I guess there's something wrong with the download. I'm downloading it again and checking if I find any corruption on files.

Let me guess... it's missing "game.ini".

That doesn't cause the crash. It's just a saved configuration file, and if it's missing, it's automatically generated when you run the game.

Re: Fairy Fighting

/facepalm the level of fail in this thread right now...

First of all, Sponge, ryona is a genre, much like action or romance... not a game designer (as far as I know this game's creator refers to himself as eluku). Ryona means 'distress,' basically. The ryona fetish is generally of a heroine getting hurt. See blank-blood (also a very hard game) which doesn't have a lot of rape but has a lot of heroine getting sliced and diced, impaled, etc. Oddly enough, ryona usually goes hand in hand with guro.

@Kusanagi... google is your friend. You look like a tool when you say "I have no idea what something is" when the answer is so readily available and it would take less time for you to find out than posting "iunno boris." Applocale is a program that basically fools another program into thinking that it's being run by a machine with native language support - i.e. being run by a Japanese version of windows, not an English one.

And by the way, this program has NOTHING to do with Flash. Literally nothing. It doesn't even use ActionScript.

@Wufei.... Only thing I can think of is that you're either pressing the wrong buttons or you're not holding them down like DarkWarp suggested. It IS a little tricky getting the right buttons, since most people customize their own and translating "ABCDEF" to whatever you have them mapped to can be a little confusing, so double check that if you've been holding them down.

1. Sorry I don't know my 'porn vocabulary'. I'm a bit of a prude.

2. I don't trust search sites when it comes to 'searching about porn.' Stumbled upon some crazy crap when I was younger that I do NOT want to ever see again.

3. Thank you for the rest of the info though.

Re: Fairy Fighting

@DeMatt *sighs* nevermind... you're not following my thinking. I know about everything you've told me here.. that's really not the problem, plus I was apologizing for not making myself clear the first and it appears I didn't make myself clear when I tried to apologize either lol..

I don't which to start a noob war over this, so just let it go. I'll find the solution on my own as usual.

Re: Fairy Fighting

I believe the 'cartoons' thing means there's a few buttons you can press at the start screen to watch some animations.

Anyways, plantgirl has no game over animation.

Re: Fairy Fighting

Dark Tiki is sorta buggy in this version. Grab her, and you'll lick away well over half her health. Also, the resist gauge for Dark Tiki keeps multiplying (the gauges themselves keep appearing underneath it).

Re: Fairy Fighting

I think lune has too many non-ero moves, especially for a still enemy. Just so damn spam happy, I didn't even notice she had a new grab.

isn't it easier to try to move it to shorter path names first?

this is mine:

G:\My Personal Files\Fairy Games\FairyFighting

I didn't see any animations on the start screen, any button I pressed sent the game to the character select screen.

Re: Fairy Fighting

It's not by button. I only saw one. Try to get a game over and come back the the main screen and it'll be different.

Re: Fairy Fighting

play through and win the game. there is an interesting title screen.

-Oberon

Re: Fairy Fighting

Yup, the new title screen is pretty awesome when you win the game. Takes a while but a pretty good reward.

EDIT: Actually, you don't have to go through the entire game, nor do you have to win. I just skipped straight to AluaLane and fought her, then lost to Dark Tiki to see what would happen. You get the same screen as winning.

As for the changed behaviors, from what I can tell, the Drinking Worms are a little less spit happy and a little more drink happy, so definitely watch out there. Spitting still stops the raping, but they're much smarter with it now. They won't spit really close up anymore.

The new move for the Naga is a bit annoying but as long as she doesn't get you in a corner, it's not hard to avoid. As for beating her...well, she doesn't really spam her worm whenever you're far away so the only 'effective' plan I've found so far is to jump repeatedly near her so she grabs you and fists you, then once it's over, she's vulnerable to a rising punch. The damage she does is a lot less than the damage you'll do so it works out. Just make sure you jump backward or else she might grab you the other way and start licking. Sometimes she does her punching move but it does little damage.

AluaLane's new move is hooot! So glad we can now skip to her stage, it's awesome. She really needs a game over rape at this point though. She's got enough moves, all we need is a game over scene and she'd be perfect.

Re: Fairy Fighting

Do you have to do anything special to get the worms' new game over screen? I've lost with four, three, and one of them latched onto me and still got the same screen. Do they have to not be latched onto you or something? Or are you talking about the new game over screen the naga has?

Re: Fairy Fighting

Actually, my mistake, sorry, there's no new one for them, I just never lost against them before so I thought it was new haha. >>;;
