I completely forgot about that. It may not be an issue, though, since his current stuff on Fantia isn't censored. Or at least it wasn't the last time I was subbed to him.

Ci-en, Fantia and Fanbox don't seem to have an approval process unlike the main online stores such as DLSite, but posting uncensored is against their T&Cs so he will get forced to censor if he gets caught.

No, although I did find a lot of repeated sprites, not eluku's fault. Just the engine organizing them poorly (my guess)

I don't mind the paywall.... the censorship can be corrected.
What worries me THE MOST is that, if he gets known, he might get cancelled or persecuted.
Those self righteous individuals hate art that contains paraphilias, even though a lot of people enjoy them.
 
Eluku, now aware of the Censorship problem that monetization brings, is weighing up his options

1.
Painstakingly mosaic what needs to be censored in the game itself
2.
Keep it uncensored, upload in parts to getuploader (ew) in order to circumvent their 100MB upload limit
make rough drawings free and include them in blog posts
When Eluku can afford to do so, upload minigames to a pay site.
3.
Give up on Game Production

The reason Eluku is even considering 3 is because 1 is way too time consuming and also in the event that 2 goes sour.

Worry not, however, I've commented and recommended SubscribeStar so he can keep WD uncensored and get his money.

How does SubscribeStar get around this? The problem isn't whether he's using a Japanese upload service, the problem is that he's a Japanese citizen selling uncensored pornography.

And that immediately violates Japan's obscenity laws.

Though as written he's already been breaking them decades - the very act of distribution is prohibited. It just stays under the radar as long as he isn't selling it for money.

The fact that he got away with putting out Fairy Fighting without ever needing to censor it is a perverse miracle, honestly.
 
I don't know how Japanese law works or whether they go after the companies distributing or the individual, but he has probably been fine for decades because distributing for free allows him to maintain some level of anonymity, trying to get paid for it means there is some paper trail that exposes his identity should the authorities go after him, (unless he uses crypto).

If he uses SubscribeStar he will be fine because it is outside of Japanese jurisdiction so authorities cannot force the company to dox him.
 
I believe going with SubscribeStar is the only viable option if he has to monetize the game.
Patreon, with their insistence on going the Tumblr route and sanitizing everything on and off-site, would be a dumb move, and all the Japanese equivalents would want everything censored.

I like the idea of Eluku minigames
 
Except I support 3 devs from Japan who use it for uncensored games.
Substar is in a country that has no such laws so the best Japan can do is block the site completely to stop it but VPNs circumvent that too.
I mean one guy I support lives in a country where rape depictions is illegal but he is making a RoR game on substar anyways.
It is up the Eluku at the end of the day but honestly is Substar complied with Japan then they would have to comply with every other country too but seeing as it is centered in the USA I highly doubt they will considering the main reason for Substar is to NOT be like Patreon.

I know Iris in labyrinth of demons or whatever its called does a thing where the main game is one big file and all subsequent updates come in append files you just zip over. I wonder if Eluku can do that in clickteamfusion.

Coming up, Futa on Futa, lets go!

Eluku has opted to split the download into parts to circumvent GetUpload's 100MB Limit (which unfortunately means for me, I have to grab it from some kind of mirror).
Eluku thanks everyone for their suggestions for alternative monetization options (subscribestar, etc.)

As my access to GetUpload has been unfairly revoked with no way to appeal, I'm gonna need some kind of mirror to download it from each week

If he uploads, let's say, to mega... is it still out of boundaries?
because in the case, the game is from a citizen but the data is in another country, not "distributed" in japan.

or is it relevant that the uploaders themselves are from that country?
laws are so weird dude....

The citizen still has to upload it from their original location. But I think Japan's obscenity laws only apply to Japanese citizens/companies, so Eluku would be on the hook for uploading but a foreign DL service wouldn't have to give a shit about its own liability.

Failure to comply with a subpoena request from Japanese courts could have its own consequences, though. If the courts care enough to issue one, anyways.

Going back to this, I found a way with cheat engine to go through the sprites array...
I needed to stop the animation loop process... and then I change the variable to see each sprite crop, but some are out of order, it's quite a mess.

If eluku decides to monetize the games he does in the end, then I do hope he actually improves gameplay, as the hit boxes are ridiculous and the enemies always have dumb unfair counters that drag the game on.
I am fine with such issues in a free game, but once money is involved, then that part of his games must also be taken into consideration.

Be more defensive, dodging can be a lifesaver
Vary your attacks
Look for a strategy that works. They may have an unfair counter, but it's likely you have a counter they'd also call unfair.

if youre doing tiger girl, here's my current strategy that might help you out so people might post beast mode strategies when we get there.
normal: literally just dodge into tiger girl and do your rapid attack.
when she does big charge punch wait for the timing and then dodge forward through her punch
as for hunger mode...
at the moment I see only 1 reliable strategy...and eluku games are kinda shit because i feel like this is the case for most of the game.
let her get close.
when she flashes yellow, dodgeroll forward, getting behind her. if it was a grab, put a few hits down. if it was a parry, wait and try again.

TigerGirl becomes a futa after you rough her up enough, but she doesn't do anything in her futa form yet.
