the economy is tough on all of us right now. Im sure someone will leak it all to kemono, not that 300 yen a month is that much in dollars, its like 2 dollars. As for me, without the easy free access to incremental weekly updates, I can just.. forget about it. Swing by in a couple of months and find completly new content.

I'm going to be a bit more realistic about his work quality, as the games themselves are pretty janky and the art style isn't the exactly the greatest compared to many other games. However, he does all this alone and embraces many unique fetishes and circumstances, so I give him a lot of leeway for that.
That said, though I'm not against supporting my favorite ero game developers, I very rarely pay for promises. If a developer never completes a game, they usually never get my money for that game either, so unless Eluku's pace significantly increases because of the revenue stream, I'll pass and would rather wait or simply not see the game ever finished if he's going to continue crawling at this pace despite getting support.
Unfortunately, all too often giving a developer support for an unfinished game actually has the opposite effect on development, as it doesn't take a genius to realize folk will happily pay you way more than the game's full release price over time without having anything reven remotely close to a full game, and in many cases, droplets of progress every 4~ months is even enough to keep the money flowing. Of course, the infamous "remake" trick works too, usually involving a complete rewrite of the game or unneeded upgrade to a slightly more updated engine.
There are a mind-boggling number of stalled patreon projects, many with (empty) promise, some of which have been 'development' for years beyond the expected timeframes with very little to show for it. I know a lot of people like to argue that what's there is worth the asking price, and hey, that's an opinion they're free to have, but I'm not going to pay several hundred dollars for a $15 game that's 10% complete and is already five years in development, no matter how good what's there already is.
More and more folk are getting wary of this now, I wish Eluku all the best if this is his plan. I'm just going to set the game aside and come back in a year if he doesn't dramatically speed up now that he's getting paid. We've been on this silly arena for way too long and imo it is by far the most boring part of the game, like a discount store fairy fighting without any of the great monsters typing with varied animations/fetishes from fairy fighting.
plus if he uses patreon that will be a rip for the project as they like to tell creators no you cant do thet and even stalk and punish for off site behavior... but then you got the major payment processors being simalr and refusing to let you send mony to subscribe star or gumroad...

I disagree.
His work is of a different quality. There are other works that are of a much higher quality than his. The big thing that Eluku has going for him is that he makes extreme content that few are willing to touch (and therefore, has a niche audience).
Not that I'm saying I don't like his content. His content is... FINE, but I really wish he'd follow through on some of the things he'd promised much sooner. He promised to removed the futa mechanics years ago, the arena is useless padding, and he's letting his community dictate the content that he's putting into his game. Not only that, but the title of the game is "Wolf's Dungeon," implying, y'know, DUNGEONS and BDSM content. Something that hasn't been a part of the game for over half a decade, possibly more.
This is nothing new, as I've been saying these things for YEARS. Again, I don't hate the game. I just think that Eluku has lost focus and is not the god-tier dev that everyone makes him out to be.
Well i following his works since fairy crusher character and blood is overall very rare adition that i dont like much. From my point he decided to bend knee TO guro fans, fairy fighting while had tons of ryona and weird stuff had little mutilation, injury and no snuff.
I guess i can swallow some bloody stuff and ignore it, but i not sure i could folow if wolfgirl will continue end up in insides tearing situations(or god forbid he goes for increase in scat\watersports department).

All of the older art on Eluku's blog - from around when he started Fairy Fighting - was guro or guro-adjacent, frequently involving a fairy or Horo from Spice & Wolf getting penetrated with objects way too big for them, with some blood from the tearing. Or from the object being covered in spikes. Or both.

There really isn't much of a debate here as it's hard to argue he wasn't originally a guro artist, as that was what most of his work was about and you can still see slight traces of it in Fairy Fighting, more like he's holding himself back.
While I'm not a fan of guro myself, it being probably the only thing I can't find enticing other than scat, I don't look down on anyone for their (safe and legal) fetishes and think it's unfair to turn a content creator away from what they and they fans originally gathered around.
Yes, I very much enjoyed games his games and am personally happy he's not been heavy on the guro, but at the same time I understand when his oldest fans are upset about that. It's really no different than another game removing other niche fetishes like incest to comply with whatever money stream they got going.
Of course, that's a completely other argument there... To me, there is a clear divider between fantasy and reality. It's inherently bizarre to see someone say something like imaginary incest is wrong then turn around and say imaginary murder fetishized to the point where you keep track of your murder spree via k/d/a or something is perfectly fine. Just makes me scratch my head. You can't say imaginary bad thing incites real bad things, but only the ones you don't like, lmao.
Anyway, that was off topic, point is that while it's not my thing I definitely won't whine if snuff eventually gets added. I've seen folk complain about its lack every so often all the way back since Fairy Fighting.
