Not atm. I really hope non of the other reports are caused by this...

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason a lot of users are saying they can't see it - it was the first thing I thought of when I realized my screen was cutting off the buttons. If it helps, I just copied my save over to a computer with a larger screen and can confirm that the buttons are there.

Really like the new girl! Her overall design, animations, etc - she's my favorite by far. Looking forwards to a higher difficulty version of her though, because the current one is a little mentally challenged.

Still a little rough around the edges though - as elusi pointed out, some moves aren't quite perfectly matched up with the opponent. The standing body submission for example has her arms phasing through the opponent's legs, which looks a little silly. I also noticed if you try to throw a standing opponent when you don't actually have enough stamina to do so, you'll immediately go into the tired animation but the opponent will still get thrown by nobody, although they won't take damage.

I'm also having a hard time feeling out how strong she is overall... She feels slightly underpowered, but throws are super good and her specials aren't bad at all - at least the smack and backflip are extremely good, the dropkick doesn't seem worth it with how heavy the penalty is when you get blocked. Honestly I kinda feel like the dropkick makes more sense as a guard break, not sure how you would casually block that with your arms. This is all probably just me not entirely having her figured out yet, though. Another reason I look forwards to a higher difficulty - would give better insight on her strengths/weaknesses.

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention - the overall pacing of the game feels a LOT better now, too. In particular, that bug that made your stamina zero on clothes break drove me nuts, honestly.

All the attacks and defensive moves shown in the window have a "coldown time" (not shown) So you need to plan wisely also giving oponent a chance to do some damage to you as well. Thats a good idea in my oppinion but the difficulty level 3 is easier to beat than 1 or 2. That should be fixed.
Level 3 didnt try to block on grab attacks so i kept spamming it with a punch and stomp.

Mhh. well yeah. The enemy manages to hit me with 3 extra punches as well after throwing me away, making me land on the ground, followed by 2 more hits and quick grab. Even when i jump-kick up, the enemy most likely does a jump attack. She takes damage but is not staggered, throwing me over in the process, followed by a grab... a cycle of mashing q and e and praying i get up for once. If i get up i am most likely unjured by that point.

How do i change difficulty? i tried every button but it remains on level 3.

I also wish there were a training mode, since it takes forever in the almost enldess chain of grab, throw, punsh-grab,... to get a small window to try out one button. idk, it feels so unfair to play this

A bit wary on raising the break strength on the dive kick since look at what happened last time with the jump smash. Her moves are fast and have low cooldown, but high stamina cost and low damage. Shes the fast and agile type of character that is favored to land more hits than the opponent. However, I dont know if the AI can play to that strength yet.

Released hotfix fixing the following issues:

• fixed invul period after grab release not working
• fixed phantom throws when using throws without sufficient stamina
• refined a couple of animations that were looking odd
• Amber(Yellow) now has a lvl5 difficulty version. May want to get some practice against her now because who knows what she'll unlock

I'm not super good at this game in general to be honest, but I've been working at unlocking watch mode now, and whenever I start making headway in the match, the stomp move comes out and sets me back. I can start taking back control of the match for a bit, but then the stomp move pretty much incapacitates me again and there's just no catching up after a certain point.

The game's controls aren't the best, the AI cheesy and the more you're losing the more difficult it is to recover.

...Worst part is I can't even figure out how to freeze my health with Cheat Engine.

So instead of waiting for futanari i decided to actually play the damn game.
So... ill start giving feedback as i play. Heres what i have to start with.

Amber backflip and drop kick both are too quick, simple and effective.
"resist" and "break free" seem to just "allow" the bar to go up?...completely pointless option it should go up on its own(with the option to stop it is you want) and you should be able to "struggle" at the use of stamina to fill it faster.
Stamina seems to sometimes completely empty for no reason? something to do with being grappled twice? i dunno, its fkn weird to stand up after being grappled with 0 stamina.
Rubys "stomp" is beyond broken, it should have no effect on standing targets. i think it also ignored blocking is shes standing close enough? unsure.
Attacks seems to have a unavoidably wider range, even a simple punch is imposible to side step...


TLDR: I fucking suck at this game so take this with a grain of salt, shit SEEMS broken but ill have to play more to be sure.

So lively here for a change.

This is my current stance on AI difficulty:

Please note that this game requires a certain degree of finesse and timing to defeat the higher difficulty AIs. The nature of an alpha is to test and refine game mechanics and its much simpler to tone down an AI if its too difficult and much much harder to make the AI more difficult without "cheating" if its too easy in the first place. Treat the high level AIs as optional end-game content rather than something you need to face in a regular basis for the main game.

I'm not super good at this game in general to be honest, but I've been working at unlocking watch mode now, and whenever I start making headway in the match, the stomp move comes out and sets me back. I can start taking back control of the match for a bit, but then the stomp move pretty much incapacitates me again and there's just no catching up after a certain point.

Stomp can be blocked, rolled, or super armored through with some moves. It may also be wise to keep some distance in between since Ruby's attacks are slow and telegraphed.

Hahah yeah, the game definitely has a learning curve. I'm sure there are refinements to the controls that would help a lot of people out but, to be honest I'm kinda used to them at this point. The only time I have difficulty getting out a move I want is when I'm trying to combo into a special move, like trying to use sapphire's triple kick after two autoattacks - very high damage rewarding combo into knockdown, but it's quite challenging to get the kicks to come out after the second q for some reason. It feels like there's just a tight special cancel window or something, and the three button input betrays me. I'll try buffering the input better and see if that helps.

And yeah, I don't think anybody could complain about Sapphire. She doesn't have a scrub-stomper move she can spam until people learn to deal like the other two. Her level 5 version is definitely very challenging, but it's not really because of Sapphire - she's just scary based on her basic mechanics and aggressive AI. Honestly I think Sapphire is just best used in the hands of a player right now. I tend to use uppercut reactively to stuff certain attacks (very important against ruby, but forget the move exists vs amber), kicks just as a combo tool for high damage, and thrust on an opponent getting up to force them to use their roll and put that on cooldown. I'm not sure if the AI would know when the best time to utilize the specials in those manners would be, though. I guess knowing what moves it can stuff with uppercut could drive some people nuts, as well as knowing to hit confirm into the kicks.

Finally, yeah... Amber's definitely not underpowered. I think she's fine as she is.

I thought I remembered you giving this advice before, but it...doesn't seem to work? Well, more specifically, my experience is that I AM trying to keep distance from Ruby, using a variety of attacks that let me close the distance after building some stamina (a dash attack or heavy swing), and the stomp has a 50/50 chance of coming out when that is happening, interrupting my action and making it all moot. Also it seems to break through guard even with high stamina, not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I'm also losing the option to use moves at certain intervals, despite still having stamina, not having used dodge roll or wake-up attack that recently, and not having been pushed too far by holds. I guess I'm still learning the mechanics?

After several more attempts, the stomp is the one move I get hung up on, The rest of the fight against her isn't easy by any means, but it feels relatively fair.

Can you elaborate on the situation? Characters are temporarily knocked out when the green bar is depleted and they are unable to act.

On that note, side stepping is a little hard, hitboxes on attacks are a bit wider than expected on most attacks. Could you look into that?

Had some time today and in lieu of the comments regarding controls and bullshit AI I decided to play some games instead of watching AI duke it out or AI stomp to test out new features.

There were definitely some bugs to the controls and the combat falls short of where I want it to be. The current game balance is fine, provided you know about the special moves and can use them effectively. Unfortunately, the special moves are too strong atm and it kinda turn into a game of special move rock paper, scissor.

Take Ruby for example, all 3 of her moves have enough super armor to withstand regular attack and they all have such low cooldown that there isnt really a opening to attack her unless you know how to use your own abilities to counter hers. In addition, since currently there is a window of opportunity to react after the 2nd basic strike going aggressive on her (or any other AI) with basic strikes is unlikely to work well. The reactive observe and counter plan doesnt work too well either because grab attempts invalidate guarding and poking with basic strikes gets countered too easily by abilities. So in the end, the special moves are too dominant in combat.

This wacky balance is kinda expected given the alpha nature of the game. New features, particular AI improvements will give the game a drastically different feel each iteration. I am very glad that "watch" is unlocked via defeating the difficult AI and I thank those who tested against this somewhat unfair setup and that bring this issue to light.

So I am going to tweak the game balance and refine animations, some of which are very rough due to the model rig adjustment. Expect fairly big game balance changes in the near future.

I also implemented the following changes to the controls:

• characters are now able to run even when their weak
• dash attack will now attack towards the target opponent if the angle between the attacker and opponent is less than 60 degrees. (instead of attacking in the direction the character is running towards)
• improved input buffering for dash attack
• updated Helper Window to reflect Dash Attack cooldown status
• added more visual cues to the Stomp attack to indicate its size better
• guarding will now turn the character towards targeted opponent
• reworked game logic for auto de-targeting (currently sometimes the opponent is unintentionally de-targeted and thus result in the ability attacking the wrong way)

I wanted to ask why that happens, too, because there have been many situations where my character still has a lot of HP (more than half, at least) and a completely full stamina bar, yet for some reason can do absolutely nothing when on the ground - both the roll and the wake-up attack are ... despite not using them in a long time. I seem to recall it happening most often after the AI finishes a grapple attack, meaning they get a free second grapple on me because I can't do anything but lie there. My character's clothing isn't getting destroyed, either, so I don't know what's causing the inability to move (and as I said, the stamina bar is completely filled, anyway).

It wasn't something that was introduced in just this last update, either, if that helps - it's been randomly happening in every version I try. The character doesn't give any indication of being tired when it happens, either - they just quietly lie there like they normally do.
