"Hm... That's a shame. I'll have to find Zunasse when she gets back at some point" she replied, sitting down and waiting for the okay to eat as her daughter sat beside her. Cought... is a little salted and bitter for my taste, but... i suppose than the others dishes are decent... but maybe the pasta was a little spicy

In the meantime the matriarch gave her some advice about the temple. "Why wouldn't we leave? Is there something strange that would keep us from getting out on another day? Because I don't think anyone could deal with half a month inside the temple, the way it's been described to me. Besides that, do you have any devices that can count off days? I don't know of any such thing, personally."

When that conversation was over, there was a knock on the door, and their food arrived. It looked like there was a variety of things, from salads to pasta to some sort of cream soup, along with some kind of pie. Evelen quickly picked out a bit of salad and some pasta, starting to nibble on them as the matriarch and Kiyomi warned Suzanne against eating more than a single helping of the meat. The human found the salad a little bit plain besides the dressing, which was wonderful, and the pasta was a bit spicy, but not too much so. "Mmm... This is pretty good. Pass me a little bit of the pie, please" she said, finishing up the food on her plate and trying to get some of the dessert-like dish to finish up.

Evelen questions before the food soon were answered by the Kitsune, Its not like you cant try to leave, but as you remember this cave is a living creature and you must pass through him to reach the temple, it looks easy but the only pass is really large and many dangers are inside. One of them is the restoration cycle than the creature had made all these years to fight the corruption, the day when you get inside ussually is close the peak where the creature is better, but after some days the place start to get worse and soon you will see a great quantity of black puddles and the place will looks really different, many adventures had lost their way to get out and were found years later in monsters nests many days of distance from where is the entrance . Also that is the time where more monsters move to our town and many of them come from that road. Thats why i suppose than you will be better inside the temple, the power inside it must create a defense against most of the monsters and you could find a place where your family could rest, as the doors had protected the secret of the temple all these thousands of years

Celesta started to whimper and frown by the image than the Matriarch give of the temple, no doubt than Teresa was also worried for her family and finally Suzanne was hearing all with attention, maybe thinking to train more to protect her family. About the way to count the days, we have many ways to do it, time magic, runes, even special items and maybe others ways to do it. Im sure than you will find the best one for you in your time at our town.

Then when they were eating, Teresa and Evelen started to fell the little side effects of the food, the warm in their bodies was getting stronger as they continued eating, but Evelen dont pay too much attention until she was at the middle of her pie slice, the delicious dessert was really good, maybe even better than the tentacle in the morning, but not doubt than the fruit cake should be even better. I think we can do it. Maybe Suzanne will learn some time magic in class, or we'll at least be able to find an item of some kind today or tomorrow."
