Has it been confirmed that this is not a virus? This set off my virus scanner as a "known worm/Trojan Horse".

control sloppy: Sometimes character completely freezes up when try to change direction in dash or when trying to crouch down in the middle of a combo. And I personally can never get the dash jump work, my character never respond to the jump command when I press it in the middle of a dash.

I also experienced the falling through floor bug in the second part of first stage when you need to jump dash across the obstacle.

I also has a problem with enemy's hit detection is stronger then the player character. This basically means the player's survivibility depends on if the enemies are being stupid and decide on not to attack the player instead of if the player is making a mistake in his or her own control.

Well, I guess its safe to say that I probably ended up putting more into content then mechanic in this one... --' All in all, its a step forward. Sometime next week, I'll probably put some work into fixing the most prevalent glitches, though I won't dig through some other problems until I start working on the final.

Btw, if any are interested(and quite finished raging over my game) You should check me out in the under construction thread from time to time.

Ok, I reached the right end of the timed part (I think) but I can't jump up the platforms because the jump is too low. Do anyone know how to do this part?

Does the game have any new enemies/animations? All I've been able to find were a red version of the blue ninjas, and some flying ducks that hit me in the face randomly. Is that all that is there? Only the 3 sex animations, or are there others?

This game has a lot of promise but navigating the bugs was a real challenge.
A few tips for anyone who gives it a go (i've tried to form them as constructive criticism for the creator too.):

Don't grind to level 3 straight away, first try to dash through the first stage and complete the second one before. If you die you can't save and you'll lose all your progress. The second stage is really tough. Jumping over the obstacles takes a lot of getting used to and the first high obstacle is horribly glitchy.
The easiest way to complete this is by dashing then mid dash do a jump, this will make a really quick long jump which is really handy in the first level too.

On stage 2, there's a point where you have to jump onto a rock ledge to another rock ledge on the left. This part is very difficult. The only way I have figured out how to do it is to do a left running jump, let go of the left key mid jump then mash dash all while holding the jump key. It seems that the game doesn't allow the super dash jump when travelling left and has real trouble doing any kind of mid air dash when facing left (I think it's only when the left button is pressed.)

Once you've mastered stage 2 THEN start grinding before attempting stage 3, but I've not passed this one yet. I think that grinding to level 3 isn't high level enough as you're tasked with killing 50 enemies (I think?) which is really excessive. Some are the red ones which will halve your health in a few seconds. I'm not sure if levelling up increases your health total but I think it does.

Occasionally the character will stop attacking if the attack button is held, so mash the attack button rather than holding it to avoid the mobs getting close.

When fighting enemies to grind or in stage 3 (Just avoid them in stage 2, it takes a decent amount of time to figure out that jump even if you know how), make sure to try and only fight one at a time and stay as stationary as possible. If you run a screen away from enemies they will occasionally respawn, but from what I can tell moving around too much makes them spawn more quickly too. Try to stay as stationary as possible and fight a maximum of 2 dudes at a time.

Apparantly the save functioin works after the first stage (is that a set of stages?) but it doesn't work on any of these 3. Loading your game will send you to the first level with the objectives of the stage you were on before and reset your level. So if you were on the second stage then you'll end up on the first with the time carried over from the second stage. When it runs out you'll just die. Interestingly if you save on the third level the enemy counter stays the same. But at level 1 I can't even kill one of the enemies to see if it changes when they die.

Hope that helps to anyone brave enough to give this one a go. It's not easy but the animations are slick and the gameplay (though not particularly fun at this present time) is really promising. I can see myself having a lot of fun with this one in the future.

And how the frigid hell do you kill 120 enemy? When no matter how I maneuver I cant kill more then thirty before being killed.

You get the spear at lvl 3, and that takes... I dont know but less than 30 atleast.
Just press D when you're lvl 3

I have to say it: Whoever reads this post/thread, DON'T try this game unless you are an unbelieveable pro in jump and runs with sloppy controls.

The game looks very, very promising, but, as of now, seems almost unplayable.

really? all i did was dash,jump and i flew pretty far. W,S or S,w (whichever is dash, jump) and you got yourself a way to jump and run.

Honestly I'm hoping for an option to change your controls. I absolutely can't stand the W/S to dash and jump.

Agreed, maybe it's my years of playing Megaman X/Z/ZX via emulator, but I much prefer my dash and jump being on keys that don't require me to contort my hand in a painful way.

But at the same time, it's not a necessity imo to have a control-remap option at this time. Maybe something to work on after the game itself is more or less complete.

Uh, am I missing something? Looking at the posts I thought there was something of an update. I dl'd the file from the first post and... hm. What's new here? The character choice screen disappeared and all that's left is just the same jawa hunting.

Did I dl a wrong file or what?

Gotta agree with yuriski on this, the ability to do that dash jump means nothing when you get to the third stage and are forced to fight. The combat boils down to nothing but "hold A and hope the enemies don't counterattack you or get past your minimum range." (which I find to be a pointless feature when the character wields a short-range dagger) The bird that constantly flies across the screen compounds the problem via damage and a half-second stun each time, and enemies despawning when you get too far away makes it impossible to dash jump away to safety without starting your combat over. Played it 4 times and only managed to get to character level 2, I don't see how anyone but amazingly good players will even get to the spear at character level 3, much less get to see the other four characters.

A few ways I could see the game being vastly improved would be to simply move the jump button to the up arrow key, explain what buttons to press to escape the grabs (if any, I just mashed everything), and make the combat more responsive (either through speeding up the main character's attacks so the enemies can't inch forward and rape you through your swings, or increase the range of the weapon to encompass more of the character itself.)
