Fay and Abby quickly go to work, blasting the nest of tentacles with magic and scoring several tearing hits with the barbed hooks on the end of Abby's whip. The tentacles immediately respond by flinging their slimy tendrils out, overwhelming the shadow tendril immediately and then slithering further to wrap around Faylin's legs, waist, and in and under her tight top, coating her breasts in dripping aphrodisiac slime. A wave of arousal courses through Fay, and she winces at how quickly the tentacles managed to get to her. She can no longer feel a connection with the shadow tendril, and knows that it must have been crushed into shadow by the weight of the tentacles.

"I-it's fast," Fay' points out as she tries to lash at the nearest tentacles with her magic. She couldn't help but bite her lip as they squirmed under her top, the tingling sensation trying to distract her from the task at hand. She really didn't want to get caught up here though, as good as it might feel. She needed to get through these things quickly.

She hadn't expected her tendril to be done away with so quickly but at least it had proved to be a distraction. Apparently living shadow wasn't too sturdy, she'd have to remember that.

Faylin managed to blast the tendrils that were groping her, forcing the surviving tentacles to recoil to the bulk of the nest. Abby attempted to slash and whip the greater bulk, but was forced instead to dodge out of the way.

The priestess began to chant, but she seemed to be having trouble focusing still and lost her balance, forcing her back against the wall, clutching the side of her head with one hand.

Another roar of the tunneler sounded in the distance. It was difficult to tell how close it might be, but it certainly didn't sound like it was right next to them.

Fay' focused on keeping up the attack, zapping the tentacles again with her magic and doing her best to stay out of their way. She briefly considered webbing them but decided it might be best to save her magic in case they were not quick enough to escape. She makes sure to keep herself interposed between the tentacles and the priestess, not wanting to give them the opportunity to grab her if she could help it.

Fay and Abby both miss there next volley of attacks, but the tentacles seem to be disoriented by the flurry if nothing else, and when some of them timidly move forward to rope around Faylin's shapely legs, they expose themselves to her magic attack. (counter)

The priestess, propping herself up against the wall starts to chant and pray again, this time managing to find a rhythm, even though her strength is weak. She becomes surrounded in a pleasant blue glow and Faylin feels a small amount of resolve and clarity bestowed upon her. It produces an odd feeling for her however, as she feels the shadow within her recoil.

Another roar fills the tunnels, and this time it sounds close. The tunneler must have somehow found their scent!

Fay' frown a little as the tentacles manage to evade her first attack, knowing that she didn't have time to waste dealing with these things. When the tendrils started to wrap around her she was quick to blast them off again, settling back into her attack on the main mass. They needed to die and they needed to die now.

Though she was sure the priestess meant well, whatever she was casting wasn't agreeing with her shadow too well. She pushed the strange sensation aside as best she could and focused on fighting. The roar was closer, only adding to the pressing need to get past the tentacles quickly. She could worry about the long term effects of acquiring more deep magic later.

The next few seconds could not have gone more wrong.

The tentacles suddenly snapped into action, moving in disturbing unison like a giant snake, jumping down from the rungs of the ladder and landing with a splash amongst the ankle deep sewer water. The move surprised Faylin, and when she pointed her wand at the tentacles beneath her, they shot up, countering her attack by slapping her wrist away, sending her shot far wide before they travelled up her arms, entangling them and coating them in their slime. Then they followed up with another attack, this time roping around her legs. With all limbs grappled, Faylin was hoisted into the air with a yelp.

Abby attempted to free Faylin, but her efforts were only rewarded with a tentacle wrapping about her whip arm and waist, drawing her closer to the tentacles. Her eyes widened, and her struggles began in earnest.

The Priestess attempted to cast something, but in her muddled state she lost hold of the spell, losing the energy spent trying to weave it.

Just as she was confident they would be able to work the tentacles down in time, everything seemed to go wrong. They were either faking earlier or they hadn't really been trying, but the ease at which Fay' found herself dangling in the air worried her a great deal. This wasn't a good position to be in, not with the tunnel beast on their trail.

She did her best to continue attacking, aiming if she could at the tendrils wrapping around Abby since she doubted she'd get a clear shot at the ones on herself.

"N-not so good..." She muttered, focusing as best she could on attacking, they didn't really have time to do anything else. She felt herself growing weaker however, knowing that she wouldn't be able to take much more of this punishment.

Faylin missed her mark and wasn't able to shoot away the tendrils wrapping around Abby. It seemed that Abby too was having difficulty freeing herself, with her off hand too busy fighing off a rather slippery, penis shapped tendril in an effort to grab the knife in her belt. While she was doing this, another tendril slipped in from the side and wriggled into the front of Abby's pants making a direct line for her womanhood. A sharp gasp ensued as it found its mark and Abby gritted her teeth as she began to be violated.

Fortunately for Faylin's mistress, the priestess seemed to get enough control over her spells to send a shower of blue sparks at the tentacles, forcing them to recoil and drop the acrobatic warrior.

This left only Fay at the mercies of the slimy tendrils, which wrapped about her midriff, giving her a fresh coat of aphrodisiac slime. Faylin felt the first true pangs of forced arousal hit her and a lewd moan escaped her as a tendril rubbed its thick length over her crotch, pressing against her moistened slit through the tight contours of her witch leather.

The sounds of the tunneler drew closer, and a splashing sound could be heard from the main tunnel where they had come from.

It was getting hard to concentrate. She was being held in the air as tendrils brushed over her and pressed against her, it had been maybe an hour if she was lucky since she was enjoying being in such a position with the shadow. Faylin shivered as she found herself moaning, doing what she could to blast at the mass of tendrils.

I don't want this, I don't want this, I don't want this, she repeated to herself, trying to drive away the forced arousal. She tried to concentrate on the sounds of the tunneller drawing closer, though with the tentacles playing with her she only ended up wondering if that would try to fuck her too.

"Die already!" She yelled pushing aside the ridiculous thoughts, having had just about enough of being messed with.

Precious time seemed to tick away as every combatant struggled fruitlessly to gain more ground. Fay felt the thick slime spreading across her skin, high lighting sensitive areas on normally non-erogenous zones that had suddenly become sensitive, such as her thighs, her belly, and her forearms.

One turn goes by with nothing changing except Fay earning another AP point. Everyone misses and the Tunneler gets closer.

Gathering the last reserves of her strength, Fay finally manages to angle her wand and time the magical blast to hit the tentacles holding onto her wand arm, sending them backwards.

At the same time, her mistress comes to her rescue, unleashing a fury of blows that hack and slash the tendrils gripping her legs and rubbing Fay's pussy, dropping the shadow mage to the sewer floor with a splash.

The disoriented tentacles, in a rage and desperate to cling to something, grab the priestess as she attempts to cast a spell with the last reserves of her magic, interrupting the casting and snatching her naked form up into the air. With no clothing to get in the way, and her body still horny and overworked by the mimics, the tentacles easily slip in to her womanhood, making the young priestess scream in panic and pleasure alike.

A nearby roar signals that there is little time to lose, if they want to make a clean escape they must finish these tentacles off now.

Finding herself free of the tentacles with a little help, Fay' curses as they manage to snatch up the priestess. They had precious little time by the sounds of things, if these things weren't gone soon she'd have to hope whatever the tunneller was it wouldn't slip out of a web too quickly.

With precious little time to think, Faylin concentrates on destroying the remaining tentacles. The tingling on her skin made it a little harder to concentrate but she persevered, expecting much worse than some tentacles to be appearing very soon.

The tentacles proved to be too wily for Faylin and Abby to take down so quickly, dodging their attacks. Whatever base, animal intelligence existed in these things, it was enough to recognize that another, larger predator was soon to arrive, and it was making itself scarce, taking away its prize, the priestess, whom with a volley of slaps and thrusts, it had completely subdued and penetrated in short order. The holy woman's body was stuffed with a thick slimy tendril in each hole, and her resolve seemed spent.

The tentacles retreated back to the ladder, and the sudden swell and sloshing of the water told Fay and Abby that they must attend to a new horror....

The creature that now faced them was huge, in pure bulk, likely the size of a schoolbus. If it could have been compared to anything Faylin knew, it would have been a cross between a giant earthworm, mixed with a centipede, as it had a round, invertebrate body with a multitude of small pincer like legs on the underside of it's body.

It's maw opened up into a series of folded skin flaps, the back surface of each being adorned with a series of sharp looking barbs. These flaps, when all opened, exposed an inner wall of red flesh that undulated, with a black hole in the center which must have served as the beast's gullet. The flesh there was slimy and glistening with saliva.

At the four corners of its diamond shaped mouth it possessed a tentacle about as long as Abby's whip, which were likely there to grab food and stuff it into its mouth.

It was like something out of a Lovecraftian nightmare, and it approached them now, cornering them between its massive bulk and the weakened tentacle nest that was now contenting itself with fucking the over-worked priestess, and letting the larger creature have the spoils.

Oh Shi- Fay' really hadn't known what to expect, she'd half imagined more tentacles or something since that's what this game seemed to like. That though... whatever the hell it was... just looked hungry.

"Abby handle the tentacles please!" She was trying to keep calm but it would be pretty clear she was not liking the look of this situation at all. She had been hoping whatever it was would be a little smaller, as it was she didn't even know if she could slow it down. She was already tired and the priestess was out of it again. Things were not looking good.

Just have to pin it that's all, concentrate. You need to do this for them. Regardless of the beast's bulk, she turned to face it, raising her arms towards it and summoning up her magical reserves. She unleashed a web spell, aiming to strike at the creature's maw, hoping to seal it with the webbing and with any luck distract it long enough for them to finish the nest off.

Faylin attempted to draw her magical power to herself, but the tunneler unleashed a horrible roar whose force alone filled her body and mind with terror. Staring into that horrible fleshy gullet, she saw it open part way to reveal a shadowed tunnel of fleshy appendages inside, thousands of them, all whipping and flailing back and forth like a mob of alien creatures. She lost hold of her spell and felt the magic fizzle. She had only the smallest fraction of time to yell "look out!" as she dodged to the side, the tunneler's bulk smashing through where Fay had just stood.

Abby was still trying to lash at the tentacles to free the priestess, but the nest seemed to be on total defensive, completely content with its current prize, which moaned and cried at the forced pleasure being asserted on her.

Everything still hung in a delicate balance. The tunneler had yet to strike either of them, but Fay knew it was only a matter of time until one of those roping appendages caught hold of her and flung her into the thing's vile maw.

Somewhere in the back of her mind Faylin had a small voice trying to remind her that this was just a game. That voice was just about as drowned out as drowned out as everything else when the beast let loose it's terrible roar. Game or not, Fay' wasn't left with any time to think as she managed to tear herself away from what lay in wait for her if she was grabbed by the thing, only barely evading the beast's charge.

Trying to focus on the task at hand, Fay' summoned up her magic again, aiming to blast the thing with her web once more. She didn't much like the odds of escaping up the ladder at this point, but she didn't want to be fighting two monsters at once either. Maybe the webs would work and they'd all be able to get out fine. Somehow though she doubted things were going to work out quite so easily.

Abby flung herself up the ladder in a sudden leap and lashed out with her whip, ensnaring one of the tentacles that held the priestesses' legs spread open. With a harsh yank on her weapon, the razor barb at the end sliced through the tentacle, creating a gout of viscous tentacle blood to spill out and the nest once again shuddered and reeled, loosing its cohesion.

For her part, Faylin redoubled her efforts to cast her spell as the tunneler rounded on her. With a snap and flick of its roper tendrils, it ensnared her about the waist. Cold terror shot down Fay's spine once again, but necessity clawed at the strands of magic, unwilling to let her give up. As the creature rose her high above its maw and prepared to drop her into it, she cast her web at its mouth, filling its jaws with sticky webbing, clogging up the vile entrance. With a roar, the tunneler flung Faylin aside, which harmed her and nearly sapped her of the rest of her strength, but the tunneler was preoccupied now... its tendrils focused on tearing away the web rather than snatching up either Fay or Abby.

Fay' shuddered as she felt the tendril grab and lift her, desperately trying to maintain her concentration. It wasn't easy, especially when she found herself dangling over the beast's maw. Thankfully her power seemed just as eager as her to stay out of there. She was glad to see that her plan had worked, though when she felt the tendril holding her more again she wasn't sure how well it had worked. She couldn't help but give a cry as she found herself painfully back on the ground.

Get up... stay up... She hadn't felt this tired since her first fight here. Another good blow and she was done for... and then she and Abby and the priestess would...

She had thought maybe the trials would have prepared her a little more to be out in this world. Apparently that wasn't the case. Despite her worries, Fay' raised her hands again, aiming for where the tentacles joined with the tunneller's body. She summoned up her magic again, aiming to restrain the beast from freeing it's mouth as best she could, hoping that it'd be enough.

(Think I should be down on 2MP since web costs two a shot. >_> )

Faylin attempts to focus another strand of webbing towards the monster, but the fickle winds of magic are not with her and the power fades. This was frustrating to Faylin. She felt that there must be a way to master the art of casting, but she was as of yet still having trouble bringing the magic forth. Fortunately the spell fell apart before she wasted a notable amount of magical essence.

Abby meanwhile let loose a victory cry as her lashes continued to find their mark on the tentacle nest until one final stroke brought the slimy mass to its limit and they tumbled down to the floor of the sewers with a splash, the priestess among them.

Abby turned and shouted at Faylin, "We've got to go now, take the priestess up the ladder, I'll distract the tunneler."

As she said this, the monstrous strength of the tunneler's jaws closed and then opened wide again in a sudden tearing pull and the roper tendrils tore the webbing away to once again expose its gullet. It seemed the webbing was more effective when used on smaller creatures, this tunneler's sheer bulk gave it an advantage in feats of strength.

The sudden difficulty in managing her spells was only serving to make Fay' more worried about the situation. All she was good at was casting and she wasn't even managing that. Thankfully her spirits were lifted some by Abby's victory cry, and for a moment she thought they might actually be able to get away without too much trouble.

Faylin moved quickly to the priestess' side, working on getting her to her feet or outright carrying her if needs be. She didn't want to have Abby distracting it but she knew better than to argue with her mistress. The thing would barely have to flick her to take her out of the fight at the moment. She would have been less worried if the beast didn't tear itself free of the webbing so quickly, though she hadn't expected it to hold that long. If she had hit it again though maybe...

Fay' worked on getting herself and the priestess up the ladder, not wanting to have Abby having to fight the thing any longer than she needed to. She could beat herself up about her magic when they were all safe.
