Guess I'm just spiraling for the (k)night
the only difference between the two is that darksiders doesn't have a hyrule field. So, I recently bought Darksiders for the PC, as I was itching for a new game and it was dirt cheap. Haven't played that long yet, but I can safely say that it's NOT Legend of Zelda, as many people claim. It's God of War. Or maybe God of War is like Zelda, but a lot more linear?
Pretty much. I found Darksiders to be leaning more towards Zelda than God of War, and this becomes more and more apparent as the game goes on. While basic combat might be the common God of War trend, the game begins to push more and more puzzles that rely on you using inventory items that seem ripped right from Ocarina of Time.the only difference between the two is that darksiders doesn't have a hyrule field.
it might have the basic combat system and ecenomics of god of war but everything else...
not to mention you go into dungeons where you open chests to find one new inventory item, a map and a compass.Pretty much.
