STORY
The old emperor made a declaration.
Whoever could make Catherine the queen pregnant first, would win the throne.

The best candidate, Prince Edward, had fought in many wars and was tired.
He would not participate in the folly of a competition for an empire he cared nothing for.
Catherine remained childless. She wanted badly to be pregnant and become empress.

There was an uprising by the ministry of Batogol.
War was not done with Edward, and he was to depart for the front line.
Catherine foresaw a long and bleak season of loneliness.

For better or worse she decided to go to the imperial capitol and find a man.

Any man to make her a baby.

Umm, maybe the ntr being the general theme, so it didn't have to specify which pov we're seeing it from?

Y'know, like To H, we played as the wife, but when it comes to stealing the girl, we're supposed to sympathize with the husband, instead of the stealer, hence why it's netorare instead of netori...

Ah I see. I usually don't sympathize with the husband at all, especially if we have choices that leads to the whole thing. I guess I could sympathize if she really doesn't want to and if we have no available choices whatsoever since technically we don't have "control" over the character at that point.

PS: It helps if the husband is actually worth it.

So...I tried google-fuing the story description.

If it's 'really' NTR (because google fu is terrible at passive definition like defeated/eaten, etc) then basically the queen and this one prince may or may not be in love.
The thing is that the previous King left a will saying the one to impregnate the queen = next king.

Then some rebellion happens so the prince have to go suppress it, and in the mean time all the males want to be the next king...

The other translation, based off of raw google-fu.
Is that the prince has been physically weakening due to long period of war.
And the queen herself want to step up and be THE Empress.

So with the time that the prince is gone to suppress rebellion, she's going out into the capital to try and get pregnant.

In which case...it's not even NTR, she doesn't even love him to begin with!

Well, NTR from the male perspective would be boring af since you can't tell if the girl is breaking or not (and you'd miss out all the sexy bits), so most NTR one way or another incorporate the girl's POV/inner thought to some degree.
(even those one chapter NTR where the male get to see his girl being fucked usually happens after she's already broken, and then you might get a shot of her with toys in or something at the end)

For playing as the girl/the girl's POV, you get to read about the shift between initial reason, to that borderline between the initial reason and desire for sex (usually because those male leads are wimp and can't satisfy them at all, because in some game the way to avoid NTR is to keep the girl sexually satisfied \- -\) and the spiral goes and goes...

If you play purely as the girl + the guy is basically a set piece "you were in love, plot said so" it definitely feels weak as far as NTR feeling goes.

Anyway, It tried to TA-fu, and strangely, this isn't really a ntr, to be honest.

Especially the line 'in the first place, the queen catherine is a swindler who used her looks and body to get the position as a queen.'

I... I dunno...

It is funny to mention, because that the creator of this game use english for its basic database names, and most of the old westen version of RMXP's assets to create this game, I think that it will bount to happens to br having a english maybe a few days later?
