Re: Gordon (Sponge)
Deana was the first to recover. "Hmmph. And just what is it precisely that you're going to do?" Something about the way she looked at him made it seem liked she was angry at his mere presence. "Better men than you have tried. As if it wasn't bad enough that we had to defend our loved ones against the mists, now Lauralie will have us sheltering a stranger. An outsider who has somehow mystically appeared amongst us?"
"He is from another world, Deana dear, as I have told you he would be," Lauralie said calmly, from where she sat, pouring herself another cup of tea.
To this Deana folded her arms and looked between Gordon and Lauralie. "Yes and you've said he'd find the source of the evil, as you couldn't do before. So go on then, Gordon. Tell us where it is then." She scowled and looked at him piercingly, her feet planted in an aggressive stance.
Alicia came to Gordon's side then and put her arms around one of his. "Don't be foolish, Deana, he just arrived here last night."
Deana eyed the way Alicia held onto him and snorted softly. "Work quickly to earn his trust then, didn't you?" Her icy blue eyes held Alicia's unblinking golden ones in silence for a long moment.
