As a Patreon project, though ... it's undeniably successful. There's consistent engagement and feedback from the patrons. People are interested in the release schedule and they care about the content and quality of the game. A few of them are disappointed or even hostile, but I would prefer to see people be angry about my project than ignorant of its existence (or apathetic about its progress).
