Here's why I hate that mobo companies won't just make bootable driver DVD's :

So you've got your brand spanking new computer components installed and are just itching to go play a game after a quick driver install? Weeeell let me tell you! You can't just throw new components in and expect windows to let you install the drivers so they work properly, you've either gotta do a repair or a fresh install! A repair isn't going to work because fuck you.

And either way both are impossible when you've got a sata cable, fresh out of the fucking box, that's faulty connecting your DVD drive to the mobo (which might not have been so huge a problem, buuuuut your USB optical drives [or mice, or keyboards] won't be working during the install process because fuck you! USB 3.0 BABY!). And by the time you realize this you've tried 5 different DVD drives and it's been 4 hours. Then you finally get windows installed (because fuck your brand new components, a 5 year old OS is taking just as long to install today as it did when it came out!) so you set your new drivers to install before you crawl into bed... only they need to restart the computer to actually install, but you've gotta manually restart it because why would the program do that for you? So you wake up to see no progress and at this point you're thinking 'why not?' because your will has already been crushed. After all this you need to re-install all your programs and go get windows updated, but fuck you windows broke their update servers! So you've gotta manually find the KBs that will let you connect with them again, low and behold these tiny fucking files take just as long to install as the 1GB chipset drivers did, and require more reboots on top of that!

Then it's the time you started assembling your new computer yesterday, and you're thiiiiiis close to getting windows updated with the win7 SP2, but know you're going to have to update it further, and weed out the win10 shit they packaged into it in these last couple of years...

And all you wanna do is go gather the 5 gamma weed you need to make a new garden to throw farmable gamma weeds in so you don't have to go back to the goddamn bright assed high-radio signal worlds that they grow on and burn your retinas (FUCK YOU SPELLCHECK IT SHOULD BE RETINAE) out of your skull any further.

Blame Microsoft, not motherboard makers. I recently installed Ubuntu on a brand new computer, and what do you know, all the drivers were included and worked out of the box(although admittedly I did have to upgrade the kernel later because of GPU issues).

Of course, that's probably at least partly because you're trying to install a 5-year-old OS, but that's Microsoft's fault as well for making 8 and 10 suck dicks.

See, I would love to place more blame on it but windows WILL load on basically anything as long as it's got the drivers to do so.

Also something that I left out as I was tired as all hell, is that the chipset drivers ARE bootable/required to be installed without windows running as that was the reason I was forced to do a manual reboot to install them. BUT to get to that bootable install you have to run the installer IN windows first.

It just doesn't make any sense for chipset drivers not to have bootable driver DVDs at that point.

That said, when windows bluescreens on safemode with perfectly functional hardware... well your fucking safemode really needs to be able to run on even the most foreign components conceivable so maybe fix that.

And a small update: I got my gamma root planted!

I hate it when Bavarian donuts don't have much cream in them...it's like when you get into the center and expect a rush of nice bavarian cream but instead get droplets of disappointment...

shit that last donut was so lacking in cream that I bet I could wank and get more results for my effort...

the only few joys I have left in this world and dunkin donuts decides to fuck it up...

They're horrible, you take a bite and find that it's just a mass of Bavarian cream in the middle that spills out if you don't eat it first. Doesn't even taste good.

That's how German donuts are - balls of dough with a big wad of jelly or cream in the middle. I don't know what Bavarian Cream is, though.

Apparently this style of donut is also called a cruller or bismarck in America?

Even more fun, theres a thing called Amerikaner in germany, which is another type of basically super sweet sugar topped bakery.

The ones with cream inside are usually called bismarcks over here.

Cruellers are something different. If memory serves properly, then cruellers have a look kind of like a twisted coil in a ring shape.

((Yay for actually paying a bit of attention when the doughnut fryers talked shop during breaks when I was doing the overnight grocery stocker thing.))

however... mmm... I love them.
I have no idea, is the dough different? Does that hole makes it so different? Maybe, both types are fried if I remember correctly, so that hole can make a difference when frying those.

Personally, I prefer a simple glazed doughnut above all others. Of course they can't be doughy or be drenched in glaze, like the crappy prepackaged ones.
