Anybody can be an artist, it's just that most people assume they can't because they suck at it when they try, and so they never attempt to improve after that. But the thing is, everyone sucks when they start, it's just something you need to work through.

As for him as a developer, it sure would be great if he could sell one of his games. I'm sure he'd make at the very least over 3000 sales, and then if he wanted to he'd be able to hire someone to do the art assets, so that the art isn't pulled from the web.

Agreed on art. Best quote I've ever heard is: "Good artists are the bad artists who didn't give up". You'll fucking hate your art for a while, but if you keep forcing yourself to try to improve, it gets better. I'd say the people who are the worst at art are the people who try to draw and think they're amazing at it immediately so they don't try to get any better.

I would like to thank the contributors for a great translation. It adds so much to the game, and the language is fluent.

I don't understand the scripts perfectly, but there is a problem in dialog with Flo after the Zombie tribe. As far as I can tell, the problem is an extra empty line after first Aya line in file story/a1/2_0.

While those that don't or don't want to stick with DAZ and 3d custom girl, as is evident from the numerous RM games out there.

Lots of people stick with pre-made assets, since making assets and making a good scene are two completely different skill sets.

making princess escape i did use many of the premade assets...but being an artist i have tried to draw them in various h scenes... though i did have time to make a few custome sprites for things...

:D down to 6 pictures to finish princess escape now

Right you are, crow_mw, that was the problem. Here's a fixed story/a1/2_0 file, which gets rid of the error, and also tidies up a few small spelling errors. Thanks for working that out!

Any updates for this game recenlty, new enemy/scene wise? I can't seem to get their site to load to where I can read it.

Nope nothing yet, he mentioned something about assets and being sorry and that he's working on the game still. I think he may have accidentally used an asset that he didn't have permission to or something

When you return to the Waste Tunnels (after you talk to the Succubus at least) and are grabbed by the Tribesmen for the second time (just before they are about to rape you), an error message occurs.

off topic but here's one chick I made with DAZ. All I had to do was play with parameters and set up animations then basically take pro screenshots a and make a png's into a moving gif as I moved the animation along.

It would take years for me to get this good at art lol. I wish I could find some of those damn gifs...

the leg looks a little goofy but zoomed out and gif'd it's not noticeable.

yeah it's cheating a bit, but this market isn't for the honorable.

I haven't been able to reproduce this. Have you applied the fix from post #462?
If so, can you note exactly what is said before the error message? The last line of dialogue, or at least one of the last?

there seems to be news on the author's blog

seems like he scheduled his next update to be in december for now, would be good christmas present for us 8D though its gonna be a long agony 1 month+ wait xD

apparently the author changed jobs and the new workplace is far away, requiring a lot more travelling time, so doesn't have as much time to progress on the game
