Sadly I have no protection. Everything I have is in one folder that is hidden quite well with some abstract folder names. I'll back it up on my external HDD one of these days...

For the record, I have around 8.00 gigs worth of hentai, but they're all games, so take it as it is.

By the way, if anyone is paranoid about someone finding their "stash", I highly recommend make all your folders non-indexed (windows 7) so they won't be able to find it through the search function. It's super easy to just type in something generic like 'sex' or 'hentai' and find exactly where you're hiding everything.

Didn't know you could make a folder non-indexed. That is good to know. I'd rather people not find my hentai folder... It has been constantly expanding.

I print it all out onto A4 paper and carry it around in a reinforced briefcase that I keep handcuffed to me at all times. No files left on the PC. It's the only way to be safe.

Bullshit aside, I just keep my files where ever. Mainly in...
C:\Users\*****\Favorites\Microsoft Websites\Sample XP\
And in there are sub folders such as "Poke/Moving Pictures/Archives/AIDS/Other Things/Armpits" etc.
But that's only an old casual hiding place. I've stopped worrying about hiding this stuff long ago, since I have my own place now and the only people who might have access to my PC are my brother, sister and friends close enough to visit.

The only precautions I normally take these days is that it's not right there on the desktop with an obvious name, or not left open on screen.

No more sabotaging the door handles and hinges to buy window closing time anymore.

If my collection was small enough I'd try flash drives, but I follow two principles with my goods:
1. Make redundant, encrypted backups on all external hard drives and make at least one of those the "main" archive drive.
2. Hide the pics/games in plain sight for temporary storage, but move them to the archives as often as possible.

When someone asks me what the unformatted (actually encrypted) portions of my HDDs are, I tell them it's my OS backup for when my main HDD fails. Half-truths FTW.

I used to just store all my porn in a folder, but I've found that traces of it gets everywhere: MRU lists, registry, thumbnail caches, etc. I now have a virtual machine in which I store and view all my porn. The virtual disk is also completely encrypted with TrueCrypt, so you can't boot the VM without a password, and you can't inspect the virtual disk without booting the VM. This setup is actually very convenient, because I don't have to hide the porn at all in the virtual OS.

I just rename the folders to be like system files......

Download a picture that does not look like a map that you can open and just name it like sysdem.ini.lol ......

And you could put a password on it.

LOL, ya lately I've been of the opinion that there is no real point in hiding it unless you've got really "interesting" fetishes that may have you end up in jail or the psychiatric ward, or you're religious or something.

Easily, in 10 simple steps.

1) Install WinRAR
2) Right click on file, "Add to archive..."
3) Click "Store"
4) Click Advanced Tab, "Set Password"
5) Check "Encrypt Filenames"
6) RAR everything
7) Name file something like "120716-restorepoint.rar"
8) Leave it anywhere
9) ???
10) PROFIT!!!

But then it would take forever to unrar averything. Also, can you add archives without unpacking everything again?

External Hard Disk is the solution

Had My Toshiba Canvio 1TB
Though it's still crying for more space

Fortunately My paren't are Relic of the past
They can't operate CPU at all

My Brother are all maried and have their own house.

I'm the youngest , and 10 years age different

So My porn and hentai are safe. lol

In 4 seperate 1TB external hard disks, i still left about 700GB more empty space. LOL! Most of them are just gravatures erm, yeah. On another note, dont read my sig.

A lot of cd's and some dvd's. I remember some years ago I downloaded some parts of a giga enciclopedia, they were a lot of doujins sorted alphabetically, I just downloaded like 4-6 letters but I had to use like 10-15 cds, and I think I didn't even watched them all. Now I just save my stuff in my drive and ocassionally burn some dvd's if I need space.

For my old collection, I stored it on a disc. It has a few videos, some Diva Mizuki games, and doujins in there.

The current stash I have right now is hidden in an external harddrive. It's worth about 3-5GB. I don't really know how to hide it anymore since I'm stumped. Probably better off buying a small external harddrive for myself.

I'm too old to hide my porn. I got rid of all sharing from my computer, just in case someone uses my wireless.
Otherwise, it's everywhere. I play mostly H-games, so I just installed them and have shortcuts in my start menu. For the few movies I have, I store them on one of my secondary drives. No idea exactly how much space it all takes up, but my 300 gig secondary is full, and then I've got about 350 gig left on my main 2Tb drive.

but i have a decent amount probably over 2 gigs in just hentai pictures :3
then what ever amount of gigs with Vn,rpg maker and other random programs :)
