Oh, that old thing. I do believe, though I may be mistaken, that that story was made before Humbird0 finished his level editor.

I'm trying to find that strange plant sprite that swallowed marle in the first y-playground game.

Ok another question, and I think this has been asked a lot, but how the heck do you beat time rabbit on the first y playground game? Every time I do the part with Julie with the spider it freezes.

It freezes because it tries to play a short video of her vaporizing the bug with Raid Extreme.
... Unfortunately the video uses an obscure codec that only works in Windows XP. An installer for the Indeo Video codec is included within the game's folder.
The reason why I used Indeo Video was because Xvid always ended up looking super-grainy in RPG Maker.

You must be registered to see the links

Just extract this into the "charsets' folder.
And you can set an rpgSprite to use the images.
There's just one tricky part. The plant will seem to be floating above the event, so you'll have to lower the sprite's position, or use a second rpgSprite to display the animations. It's not a perfect solution, but you can get creative with your solutions.

Thanks for the tip but when I ran the installer it stopped responding and I had to stop it.

no I mean I was trying to get on his site and it just would not load, thankfully all I had to do was wait for about 6 or 7 hours and it was working on my computer again.

According to the webhost, they were struggling against some kind of brute-force hack-attack that was targeting wordpress-based blogging sites. Fortunately, my site doesn't use wordpress, it's all custom HTML.

Good thing its all custom. I've been working on a little project that I've offered to people, but they all turned me down. But maybe you'll consider it.

With that "Psychic pokemon kidnap people game", I wanted to ask a few questions.

First, I played until I got to the Pokemon world, went into the pokecenter with the chancey behind the counter, and the game froze when leaving. Was their more to play?

Second, I was able to kill the first Abra with a few potions, which let me see pikachu going at Marle instead of just rescuing her. Would I have had better scenes with others if I had just focused everything on killing the psychics instead of figuring out the puzzles?

Third, I never got any pokeballs, and thus I was uncertain whether I should try fighting all the trainers for experience while using the pokecenter to save on potions. Did I miss something or was I playing the game close to optimally?

Ok I can answer all three right now, 1. Yes there is more play, though I'm not sure why it froze for you. 2. No, the first Abra you kill is the only one that does a scene like that, you have to make your own for the other two girls. 3. Yes you are playing the game optimally, there are no pokeballs in this game. I hope that answered all your questions.
