But, the woman would hear none of it. "If you are truly innocent in the eyes of god, then you have nothing to fear." she said bluntly, putting faith into her belief in god, for lack of a reason not to execute Naznia. "Take her above, and lock her away until preparations for her atonement are finished."

The two angels nodded, taking the wrongly convicted Naznia with them, before the officer angel turned to Alex, looking him over for a moment, "... I assume that powerful force of magic was you?" she said in slight question, while Cherry silently crept up beside him, wrapping an arm around his leg.

Alex watched in disbelief as the scene unfolded before his eyes, shocked by how the guards and the other angels had reacted.

"Magical force?" Alex repeated, confused for a moment by what officer angel meant. "Oh, no that wasn't me, that was this amulet." Alex said after remembering what had happened. Taking it off he held it out to the angel.

"What's going to happen to her?" Alex asked, worried for the angel that had just been taken away. "I, I don't think she knew what she was doing. "I have an idea; we could try and break her free before they sentence her to death. Or if thats too risky we could try and find the real culprit and turn the person in."

While finding the real culprit was little more than an idea, with no leads as to who might have changed Naznia into a demon on hand, freeing her from a certain death was likely the only way to save her. "We can't let an innocent person be executed for a crime they were manipulated into doing. Didn't you say that everyone here trusts each other? If that were the case then wouldn't they put off the execution until we can find out who the real culprit is?"
