Laena hopped over to the bed, sitting down on it and beginning to listen attentively. The strange, foreign words were difficult for her, and combining them with the gestures took some practice. It was also a strange feeling to her, trying to manipulate energies that weren't the wind. She had never actually learned how to do it, it was just something that came naturally to her, almost as easily as breathing. This was different. After a couple of hours, though, she more or less had it down. "Hmm... I guess I should test it out to make sure..." Laena finally muttered, blushing nervously. She hesitated, not really wanting to do this in front of Lily, but not really knowing how to tell her to leave; after all, this was just part of the learning process, right? Laena's words echoing in her ears, Lily's smile is all encouragement. "Just do as I do. You can do it, I'm sure." Not letting the harpy get a word edgewise, the sidhe starts reciting the spell slowly, articulating particularly clearly and making the gestures a little exaggerated. With the last gesture, she lets the spell die out, keeping her eyes on Laena.

Laena watches and listens as Lily demonstrates the spell one last time, following along with her slowly and deliberately. She didn't necessarily need the fae's help, but it certainly didn't hurt, and in a way it made her feel more comfortable. She felt less like she was putting on a show for her teacher, though in a way that was what she was doing. As she spoke the last word and finished the last gesture the harpy slipped a hand into her panties, lightly brushing her netherlips with her fingers. "No, I haven't killed anybody. Not yet at least. I'm probably going to have to in the near future. But I'd probably only be able to do it because those things out there.. the monster alien things? Why isn't she doing anything? Why isn't she saying anything?

For a long moment Lily just stands there with Laena on her arms, drowning in her eyes before finally pressing her lips against the harpy's in a light kiss. For a moment the sidhe can only stare at Laena wide-eyed as she works to catch her breath, her mouth wide open and her wings still spread wide.

"Well it's not entirely based upon looks. It's harder to kill somebody if you don't understand their intentions. These things have pretty simple intentions. Rape, kill, enslave, and power. A very barbaric and simple way of thinking. Rather instinct than thinking. I don't know your intentions. You could be deceiving me as I speak, or you could be genuinely asking for help. Even demons differ on intent and desires. But these aliens? By how you've described them, they pretty much are all the same, with no good intentions whatsoever. It's easy to kill somebody that you know only cares to rape murder and kill others. But it's more difficult to kill a person that may have done some bad stuff, but what if there was some sort of reasoning for their actions? A man could be guarding a criminal in a cell. The criminal could actually be a boy who just wanted to find some sort of potion to cure an illness his mother has. Vice versa, if the boy tries to escape by killing the guard, the body doesn't know the guard is a loving father of 4 who struggles to support them as the mother passed away, and the job he has now is the only one he's able to get."
With a grin, he gave what seemed like a relieved sigh.
"So with these things, I don't have to consider such possibilities. Sure, I might be deceived up to a point, but once discovering them to be these aliens, the decision to take a sword to their throat will be as easy as blinking."

Canderous glanced at Garrett with a raised eyebrow, "Who's to say what the circumstances or intentions of these invaders are? We know only the results of their actions, which are surely as bad as you describe, but as far as I know, no one has ever spoken to one of them and discerned their true purpose in coming here. Why they came here... Even how they came to our world is a mystery to us. I can't fault your logic in seeing them destroyed after what they've done, but still.... I can't help but wonder at the answers to these questions. Perhaps they might lead to a solution not bathed in blood, hrm?"

Laena breathed a ragged sigh of relief as Lily let go of her, but when the fae fell backwards she was surprised. The angelic woman just dropped backwards, falling hard on her butt. The harpy hopped forward a step, her own legs a bit unsteady, and leaned down to hold out her hands, offering to help Lily up, asking "are you okay?"

Lily blinks several times, blushing slightly. "Y-yeah." Taking Laena's hand, the fae helps herself up, brushing briefly against the harpy before taking a step back. For a moment she doesn't know what to say, occupying herself with looking at the floor. "So, uh... at least the training went well."

Laena helped Lily up and shifted her weight nervously, looking towards the door now. "Yes, it did... I didn't think magic would be so easy to learn. Well, it wasn't that easy, but it was easier than I thought" she mumbled quickly, obviously just looking for something to say.

"Well.. I'm pretty sure somebody has thought of that. Though speaking alien might be something of a language barrier. But I'm guessing they don't even take the time to listen regardless. Do they ambush and attack? Whatever. They can try to kill me as much as I want."
Giving a frown, he looks to where the ladies walked out.
"It's them I'm worried about. I mean, I don't doubt the fact they aren't capable fighters, I just don't like the thought of them possibly losing. The thought of them getting abducted and made into.. sex pods. Pisses me off. The thought of helplessly watching as I'm powerless to do anything? Probably my biggest fear. "I'm sure that they will try to ambush you, but I would be more worried about capture than death were I you. I can only imagine what it's like to have one's soul torn from one's body, and that is exactly what the invaders do to their captives," Canderous replied simply following Garrett's invitations for the invaders to attack him, though he frowns at Garrett's next words.

Stepping away from the kitchen, he came over and sat next to Garrett in order to look him straight in the eyes as he quite calmly and softly said, "If my kin capture you after you've attacked them or if the aliens get a hold of you and your comrades, what you fear happening will come to pass. My kind have tortured and tormented for millennia and will determine your weakness the very moment they begin their assault upon you. In all likelihood, they'll start with Lily once they determine which of them you care more for, something that they will know with a single glance into your eyes. My kind naturally hate the fae, and the sidhe such as her most of all. The things they would do to her would be as much to revolt you as to reduce her into a mewling lump of flesh. Depending on how much damage you do to them, the things that they do to Laena would be worse. You would be forced to watch every moment of it while succubi teased you, slowly doing to you what they would quite rapidly doing to Laena by feeding on both of your souls. Whenever you awoke, they would likely do it again, and again, and again, until they had broken you.

"That said, the aliens are worse. The malice of my kin is directed and calculated. We know how and when to cause both pain and pleasure in order to break a mind, but from us recovery is possible. From the invaders, there would be no return. No second chance. The three of you would watch, barely lucid from their poisons, as your souls were slowly torn from your bodies, and something else was put inside. Something that would be nothing more than a slave to the ones who had violated and corrupted you, and a willing slave at that. I won't bother to guess at who would go first, but it is entirely possible that, if captured, you might be forced to watch your lover's soul ripped out of her, only for her to rise again and attempt to convince you to give in."

He paused to gauge Garrett's reaction at his words, but before Garrett could offer much of a reply he continued, "You may wonder why I have told you this, and the answer to that requires a question. What are you willing to do to prevent this?"

Lily quickly steps out of Laena's way, raising her purple eyes to look at the thin harpy from side. "How powerful was the spell when you cast it?" the sidhe says uncertainly, continuing the topic. Her wings flutter nervously before she folds them on her back.
