Most of the stuff you can figure out by trial and error if you're familiar with previous games. Though one thing that's new is that you need to obtain 3 heart symbols by selecting the correct dialogue choices, and not only do you need to select the correct ones but you also need to select them in the right order as well or you won't get the hearts.
