The vampire hunter one was pretty cool, and the translation was definitely serviceable.

I think I stumbled across that bit of text in japanese that y'all said you couldn't fix for some reason, and there were one or two minor errors in a few lines of dialogue, but by and large nothing grievously assaulted my eyes - and I'm certainly glad I was able to understand what was going on in the game.

By the way, I don't think I saw the name of the Knight game mentioned in the thread, or a walkthrough for it.

I'll look again, but just in case I'm right and those things aren't around, does anyone know what the knight-girl game is called, and how you get at the endings?

EDIT: All right, found something of a walkthrough in Evercrow's post on page 9 I think, but I still don't know the name of the game.

The Japanese text you are talking about can't be avoided (if it starts, I think, when you knock her on her ass with the 30 point attack move and hit the rape button). It is actually not dialogue, well, rather, it is not in the same line form as the rest of the dialogue. I mentioned it to Ritsu and he said that there is nothing he can do to alter that specific piece.

As to the proof-reading, my system is messed up so I had problems getting to 1 or 2 scenes in the game which made it impossible to work on every line. The next game he is working on does not give me any problems, so I can give it a more thorough read through to edit it.

I found a bug in the Vampire Hunter game. When you get the option where she "Welcomes you to the family" I get a white screen where I can't do anything.

Just checked it - works fine on my computer. Try opening it with a browser, or updating your flash player.

Hey Ritsu how do you go about looking up all the kanji when you're translating? Do you already know most of it or not?

How many endings are there to Vampire Hunter? I've found Domination (1), Submission (1/2), Love (1), and Lewd (1).

Np. I just copypaste the ones i don't know in a dictionary. The dictionary i use is Yarxi, if you're interested.

I'd say i knew like 2\5 of those that vampire hunter had. But it depends on a game. In imoutoto it was like 3\5. Why?

mines up to date and i get a odd glitch sometimes(well it only happened twice) I tried to rape her and there was no dialog at all and after wards it showed me a random ending

I opened mine in a browser and updated my flash player. I tried the same ending twice (once on FireFox and once on IE) and got the same result. A white screen where I can hear the music but can't do anything.

I'm afraid i can't do anything about it then. The game runs flawless for me.

I know is a flash player and i can play with mo GOM player and Web Browser.
What i mean is, how can i use Subtitle in game?
I cant understand Japanese(Isn't that obvious?). I dont realy understand the TEXT for God sake..:eek:

I was just curious how much look-up you were doing. I studied Japanese myself but I know very few kanji so I was trying to figure out if I would be able to translate one of these.

edit: Also could you go over which programs you use to do all this stuff?

Well, i really do lots of look-ups. some times the phrases make absolutely no sense, so i also have to look them up.

As for the programs - i often use Translation aggregator for translating and notepad++ for editing scripts. For decompiling i use a program that ytinasni gave me. Talk to him if you need the details (his skype name is "ytinasni_" - he doesn't visit forums much i think)
