"Well...I'm not entirely sure if there's anything specific I'd want to ask of you really, aside from just try and support matriarch Jolynn to try and maintain peace in this lovely place. I would like to help everyone if I can. It's part of my nature as an angel, to help all of those in need. I won't try and force you to help though. Because doing that would just be wrong, and I agree with you and any of the other nobles that say it, that when Jolynn forces any of you to... pay tribute and whatnot, that it's wrong, even if it's tradition to maintain power. But that doesn't mean a rebellion is needed. I can convince her to listen, if the nobles are willing to sit down and talk. But she is carrying my children too after all, so I'd hope that none of you would try and be hostile towards her, else I would have to defend her. If enough of you have the fortitude to stick to those convictions, then words can suffice I think to bring forth a new era of peace and understanding between the matriarch and the nobility," Sera replied softly before sipping some more of her tea and sighing. "I've been outside further afield than anyone from here, and I can guarantee you that there are great dangers out there, that a divided nobility of this city, would not be able to face if forced to, no matter how strong you all are. My lover June? She came from a town that's actually not too very far from here. And there was a mage in her town that was trying to corrupt them into basically worshiping him. And had he found this place here, I assure you that he would have attempted some upheaval, whether it was desired or not. Then there's the orcs to the far north that would enslave everyone here, men and women both, and the matriarch... she'd be put through even worse enslavement for being both royalty, and a matriarch. And the noble women, the orcs would fight over who got who for breeding purposes, and that's it pretty much. The aliens would just corrupt the people here until they forgot anything but sex, or died from being drained of their energies. And the list of dangers goes on. Together, this city can stand strong. Divided though... I don't think it could withstand any invasion of any kind. And while I may be powerful, and an angel, I can't always stay here really, plus I have my own quest of sorts to figure out," she went on to say, trying to convince lady Kathren, but it was clear that she didn't intend to try and force her way of thinking on the woman, nor did she intend to attempt any subversive magics, or anything of the sort,
