Re: Kathy's Legend of Zelda CYOA

(Winning Vote: 1C, 2A)

Link heaved a slight sigh and turned back, leaving the deku scrub to do what he wanted with those pictures. Even if she did find him, she probably wouldn't do much to him anyhow. She slid the tunic on and began to tighten the laced up top, the poor thing barely fit her anymore and she quietly wondered how the master sword and the golden realm managed to create such a well fitting outfit for her when no one else could. Her swordbelt slipped on at her hips and her small bag of gear slung at her back. After so many years of adventuring, she'd learned to only keep the best of her equipment, not letting everything else bog her down. Her sword and shield, of course, the ocarina of time, obviously, and a few more trinkets...

Vote 1) Choose up to 3 more items she carries with her.
a) The Bunny Hood, to let her run fast.
b) A magic bottle, unbreakable and can even hold magic.
c) Hero's Bow, a good bow goes a long way.
d) Bomb Bag, for when you just need that extra boom.
e) Mask of Truth, can peer into another's mind... sometimes.
f) Boomerang, a classic weapon of the world.
g) Hookshot, sproing! Great for reaching hard-to-reach areas.

Her things happily stored away, Link looked around the area again. The yearly festival was almost here over in Termina, and without a huge moon in the sky, it would be a lot more popular this year. On the other hand, her homeland was so very near now, she could almost laugh at the idea of walking back into Kokiri village and actually having time to explain to them who she was.

Link pulled out her ocarina and blew a few quiet notes, happily playing out a few old tunes that reminded her of her adventures. She finally gave a relaxed tapping of her foot to get a soft beat as she began to play Epona's song, but her music harshly interrupted... A scream. Someone was in trouble nearby. There was no time to think or consider, Link's heroic instincts kicked in before she even had a chance to ask herself if it was dangerous... Even if she stopped to consider it, the answer was obvious. She had to go help whoever it was.

Bursting through the forest and past a few large rocks, Link came upon a bog full of ReDeads, the scream seemed to have come from deeper in, but a thick fog was rolling over the area... she could vaguely see something in the distance. Taking a few steps closer, the poisons of the bog began to reach her, and she coughed slightly, but that person was still in danger, she had to help!

DO DOO DOO DOOOOOO!
Link's inventory is now unlocked. For every Action! vote, Link may now attempt to use one item with it.

Link may also change equipment by vote from now on. Though her current equipment is only her sword, shield, and tight-fitting tunic. If anyone wants to vote for an equipment change, at any time, simply add "Equipment" and what item you want to change out. This vote extends to how she wears her outfit or any weapon styles she uses (once she learns new techniques).

Action! Vote 2)
a) Try to avoid the ReDeads and get to the source of the scream. Speed through the bog above all else, to get past the poison.
b) Attack the ReDeads head on, defeating them is the best way to save whoever is in there. The poison will hurt, but better to take the direct approach.
c) Another way... there's got to be a way that person got into this mess, maybe it's safer that way, with fewer ReDeads and less poison...

note: Ocarina Songs must be re-learned to revive their magical qualities. Link's only working song right now is Epona's Song.

Vote 1) B, C, G; A Bottle to store things in, a Bow for long-range attacks, a Hookshot for Item Grabbing and Area Reaching, more or less. The rest feels too situational.

Vote 2) A/C, HOOKSHOT SWINGAN if possible. Otherwise, try to move around, far away from the ReDead. A Detour and being possibly a bit later is better than sludging straight through and INTO the goddamn Screamers.

Re: Kathy's Legend of Zelda CYOA

(Winning Votes: 1C and 1G, 2C. Link has her Hero's Bow and Hookshot.)

Link grabbed her hookshot and nodded, the path was clear. Aiming into the half dead trees above, the length of chain began to rattle off when she pulled the trigger, and the end snapped into the wood, suddenly yanking back, "HAAAH..." The sudden yank a bit of a shock as she felt herself hurled into the tree, barely catching it as she dangled above the poison clouds below.

Now well above the dangers, Link looked down at what was being attacked, the ReDeads swarmed over the figure, at least four of them assaulting a figure that was stunned down below, a single stunned hand reaching out desperately through the attackers.

A few more quick shots and Link was nearly on top of the figures. She still couldn't tell for sure who was down there being attacked, but it looked to be an adult hylian...

Action! Vote)
a) Leap straight down into the group, it's a dangerous tactic, but the person caught down below needs help fast!
b) Jump down nearby and attack a few ReDeads nearby so not to be attacked by surrounding enemies, it's safer, but that poor victim is going to suffer.
c) Stay in the tree and attack down with weapons. (Choose weapons)

Ah, a good CYOA, haven't seen one in a while (well, that's still active).

B: Best to play it carefully, that or

C: Snipe them with the bow?

Re: Kathy's Legend of Zelda CYOA

(Winning Vote: A)

The metallic ring of her sword drawn, her answer was clear. She leapt off of the branch with a resounding cry, "HAAAAA!" her sword came down and cleaved clean through one of the Redeads, its body falling off of the person it was attacking and dissolving in magical fire as these creatures were prone to do.

She saw the victim pinned down and swung her sword hard, cleaving through the remaining three redeads all at once and breaking their hold as the monsters were knocked back by her violent assault.

"*COUGH, COUGH* ack... h..help..me... wh..who's... L..LINK, is that you?" Looking down, the person she just came to help was a Gerudo woman, her clothes torn and shredded, and she was bound in shackles that had remains of chains on them. "Link! The Gerudo need your help... You're one of us... you must help!" she cried out in excitement, one her body looked bruised and beaten, her breasts bared and pants torn away, but Link couldn't see what other abuse she'd suffered through the poisonous fog the woman was laying beneath, coughing weakly.

Before the woman could tell Link any more, her eyes went wide and she gave a terrified, pained scream that matched the horrifying shriek of the redeads as the creatures gathered again, the same three slowly approaching her, not finished with their task.

Link hefted her shield and her muscles tensed, about to strike out at the redeads once more and finish her task, when she felt eyes on her back... The entire world shrank, it felt as if something was holding her. Her breath grew tight and sharp, and a harsh scream rang in her ears... Her muscles wouldn't react... her body was frozen... Then she felt it, the redead's cold hands snatched her, their cruel nails digging into her skin, clammy flesh rubbing across her body as one of the disgusting beasts climbed onto her body, its skin rubbing across hers, making her feel sick to her stomach and every ounce of her strength spent trying to break free from the unnatural hold the thing had on her body. Then its teeth dug into her neck, racking her body in pain as a second one suddenly grabbed her, pulling violently at her tunic as she dropped to her knees, barely able to hold her sword. She could only stare in terror as the second redead bared her breasts with its cold clammy hands, and teeth dug violently into her breasts. "Ahn...nh...uurhn..."

Link's vision growing hazy from the poison for a moment, her sight locking onto the Gerudo woman as the three redeads grabbed her, one biting into her breast as well, another lower, trying to chew on her inner thigh, the third one seeming to almost give the Gerudo a disgusting kiss as the helpless woman cried in terror.

...

It felt like forever that her breasts were assaulted and those hard claws dug into her skin, before Link managed to break free from the hold, reaching back and clutching the redead on her neck and hurling it off of herself, her sword cracking down against the face of the enemy biting her sensitive breasts, and she stumbled backwards in a panic, panting hard and feeling a cold sweat rolling down her body.

It was barely a few seconds, but she stood there, tunic ripped open in the front and her breasts bared, her muscles ached and she looked around, not so sure this approach was the best option...

Link's Stats:
2 / 3 hearts. Tunic ripped open, bare breasts.

Action! Vote)
a) Too late to back out now, save the Gerudo woman and get out of there!
b) The area is too dangerous, leave the Gerudo and protect herself, once the redeads attacking Link are dead, she can rescue the Gerudo.
c) This was a bad idea from the start, the tree is still just above, if she fled into the tree, she could attack down and hopefully save the Gerudo without any further danger to herself.
