jap and eng version are more or less equal in terms of modding capabilities. Eng version might be missing a few jap exclusive collab dlc costumes and some old CM costumes that you can't install via official methods. But nothing stops you from downloading jap dlc and extracting the costumes from the arc files and use them as mods. They will all work fine. I made a compatibility patch for R4.10 modpack so you can use it with eng version perfectly fine.
Jap version is still preferred and you get another standalone game you can play with. Eng version is easier to set up but once in a while you will encounter some mod that will require some manual tinkering. Not a big deal.
 
Translation pack was updated for both COM3D2 and COM3D2.5 with everything up to date.
The method used to make this was changed so this is a bit experimental.
The whole script translation was redone from scratch with

model and merged with official translation. It should be better than the old sugoi v4. At least it should make proper sentences.
This time all the UI elements should be translated (even if done poorly). UI elements sometimes lack context and have weird formatting which confuses the so called AI. Some of it was manually edited to make sense but it still needs a lot of work.
Please report if you notice anything unusual and provide some feedback on the overall translation quality.
Special thanks to Mdrift for the initial translation cache and Shade for testing and explaining the method. And of course Pain Brioche for building the tools.

Hi, I was downloading the DLCs from torrent but there is nothing at all, very few seeders
 
Thanks for the guide and repack. I'm from Russia, there's a lot of information, but I was able to use most of it thanks to your instructions.

But I didn't understand one thing due to the sheer volume of information. Does the 280GB repack contain mods and are they installed, or aren't the mods installed yet but are in the folder?
And a slightly unrelated question: there's a program that lets you add fetishes, yatogi skills, and other things to maids. Can you remind me of the name?

The 280GB repack does not have any mods preloaded. Repacks for this game should never be distributed with mods (I'm mainly referring to plugins here) because game updates can break stuff and you'd have to reinstall latest COM Modular Installer anyway to fix what was broken. Note the word "modular". It means that you get to pick what you want and need. Someone else's plugin configuration might not suit your needs.
I think you are asking about MaidFiddler. That is considered obsolete and unsafe because it can and will break your save if you're not careful what you unlock. You should instead use CheatMenu and the unlock scripts from CMI. They are much safer but you are still likely to run into dead ends if unlocking a scenario that isn't available for a certain personality. There is a workaround that will at least prevent the game from crashing from missing scripts and load a similar script instead. A consequence in this case will be that the voices and motions will be mismatched. Try searching for a plugin called InterLewd on CM discord if you ever need it.
If you want lots of mods in one go, use the optional R4.10 modpack add-on on a clean Mod folder. It has all the common face and body parts I could find, underwear and outfit collections and complete character presets that were popular at their time. It's useful if you want to use downloaded presets because you won't have to search for the required mods most of the time. A lot of the included mods were either locked by the author, deleted or lost in time. Just don't combine it with other modpacks you might find online. Conflicting mods are never a good thing.

Old torrents die out eventually. Such is life. Nothing I can do about it. That's why repacks exist so you don't have to waste your time downloading old dlc.

Thanks, Got it work. But one thing I noticed is that based in the current save game, I am unable to act different sex style despite having max level on on stats to satisfy the condition. Solution to this ?

hey. sorry if i am making a obvius stupid mistake but i downloaded the game from torrent and set my locale top japan when i tried to open cm3d2x.64.exe the game only shows the black screen and the numbers in top left corner any idea how to fix this?

Yea because posting a black screen sure helps in debugging a game.
Give more information.
Any popup error message when launching?
Did you stop seeding? Stop and remove torrent.
Is the game folder read only? Remove read only attribute for game folder.
Is the game path too long? Move it to a short path like so D:\notporn\CM3D2
Did you update the game? That shouldn't be an issue but do it anyway.

Try running as admin and take ownership of the drive.
Also you should launch it from CM3D2.exe launcher not directly from the CM3D2x64.exe. At least for the first time. Maybe it has to write some config files first.

Either Sybaris or BepInEx framework should work when you set it up. I personally used BepInEx for CM without any issues. Some people suggest that Sybaris should be more stable for CM only. When you launch the game a cmd console will appear and you should watch out for red error messages. Don't click inside the console because it will freeze loading.
After you set everything up and run the game once provide a log file from CM3D2x64_Data\output_log.txt
Also you should install/update VC++ redistributables

thanks for the reply man after reading your message i found out i was missing many things
i did updated my vc++ (its 2015.64x to be exact)
i did installed the update folder but im not really sure how to start the update so i didnt do anything about it. i didnt want it to corrupt any files
i downloaded the LMMT with bepinex it gave me this same error over and over (also idk how to send you info about log file so i didnt write here)

I translated the name but couldn't find it on the DLC list

I just downloaded the game, used the bat to add Path and Installed COM with Similar to Noctsoul's AIO + The Translation port from the english version. Yes first I deleted the UI and SCript folders. after that I not did anything else related to mods. I just installed some DLCs, and MAAAANNNNN seems like you're buying every DLC you have a great collection, I even installed the latest DLC ソープランドエンパイア released 1 week ago. YOU'RE INSANE, REALLY NICE VERY COOL GUY THANK YOU VERY MUCH🤩

Also I want to have futa on the game, for the protagonist and maids. I see that you tweaked [CMI]XTFutaAccessories a little.. can you share it please? I do not want to download a full modpack, I just want all the plugins + uncensor + translation + futa (for PC and Maid). Clothes, accessories etc.. from the vanilla game is good enough for me. And for some reason there us duplicated PC customization, is it normal? Like there is 2 of the same head for example but both are the same.

And last, do you think is it worth updating it to Ver.2.46.3?

I wanted to have the most recent thing, the changelog isn't that bad, many Fixes and more fixes in my opinion is worth it but the download speed of the game was tough, backup of it is tough.... if something break will be a pain to wait it again, Updating Game 2.39.2/Build 2.39.1 to 2.46.3 is fine or I have to install all the update after 2.39.2 until it reach 2.46.3?

I advanced on the game a little, about 20days or so... I'm stuck when trying to do Yotogi with one of the maids, I do not have any option to select.
As you can see the dialogue need to select a place but there isn't any option on the screen to choose from.. I also included the log, pretty much the same from above. g9QEMvBGsB.png

you have to download and extract the update somewhere you can easily find it but NOT in the game folder. After you extract it run the updater. If you ran LMMT by default it should have added the registry keys so the updater will know where to install itself.
Then maybe you need to manually update BepInEx, UnityInjector, XUAT. Overwrite with this little

to update them.
If nothing works then just use a Sybaris based installation.

Please don't share the dlc list here. The link was encrypted for a reason.
You can find most dlc online if you know where to look. I did buy a few but it's not worth investing in something I don't even play and have no attachment to. I just make backups and do the maintenance.
Updates are required for latest dlc compatibility. You only need the latest full update (not the sub update)
From that error alone it looks like there's an issue with DressCode plugin. Maybe you have an outdated version? Though the one from CMI should be the latest since it was just added.
Maybe you just need the latest game update because after some update broke stuff the plugins were updated for the latest version and won't work on older game version.
I did not tweak [CMI]XTFutaAccessories. What you saw posted a few pages back are separate mods tweaked from old CM era mods.
If it's futa what you want I guess it's easier to just use XtMasterSlave plugin. That way you can use existing maids and customize whatever you want. But for yotogi accuracy separate futa bodies should be used. See if

I've managed to download and install properly everything related to vanilla game and the DLCs so far, and I've also upgraded to com3d2.5 + CR edit since I'm mostly interested in just removing censorship and translation (and CMI does the job for this version at the moment). And everything seems to work perfectly fine,
I'm genuinely grateful to the OP and this forum ;)

However i don't have the link with CR edit and com3d2.5. and the associated buttons don't appear in com launcher or in game

about it, I should've encountered this dialog linkage window after either upgrading to com3d2.5 or installing CR edit, installing gp-03 DLC, and starting the game

But i read the guide only after i went through with the installation and probably missed the linkage part
now this window doesn't appear, reapplying [gp-03] or [+X0 with KissCharacter EditSystem] doesn't help, reapplying latest 3.46 update doesn't help either

So how can i link CR edit to com3d2.5 now?


update: I figured it, i needed to open update.cfg in com root folder and add the appropriate path to the "m_strCREditSystemPath=" variable
Now i just need to figure out how to set the English version of CR Edit :D
